First time I heard this song, I thought my Ipod was playing "Echoes" by Pink Floyd instead. This song is very Floydish. Dreamy song, with a great guitar part, a cresendo chorus that goes into a 5min jam that ends with the final verse, and the guitar rift. Absolutely fantastic. The intro is great, dark and dreamy. Overall, the song sounds great, and shows another side of Hendrix.

Hendrix was an avid fan of science fiction, and it's influence can be seen in the lyrics to this epic song. Musically, it has a rather ominous sounding beginning, and though it goes on a little too long, it's impressive. From "Electric Ladyland."

This song really epitomises the otherworldly genius of jimi hendrix its a great guitar song but its more than that it makes you feel like your underwater in some atlantis kingdom seeing heavenly sights but it also makes you feel isolated and cold at the same time the middle to end is awesome this is a brilliant brilliant song the best song hendrix ever did and the coolest trippiest song ever!!!
