08/07/2006 | hey, either the red sox or the mets will win the world series, you can't predict that both will win!
that said, i think that the mets will win the nl championship and the detroit tigers will take the al, with detroit winning the whole thing.

12/25/2005 | The loss of Damon to the Evil Empire really hurts but if they pick up Clemens and/or Millwood, and with the addition of Josh Beckett they'll sure as hell be able to pitch well enough to keep them in games. They're probably going to deal Manny however and it depends upon what they get in return that will determine whether they'll be able to go the distance in October. There's too many ifs and buts however and I wouldn't bet the farm on it.

12/23/2005 | Unlikely, not impossible, but quite unlikely...I just repeat the standard Red Sox fan mantra: Anyone but the Yankees. I'd root for the St. Louis Browns, who haven't even existed since 1953, and sucked almost every year of their 50 years there over the satanic ones...
