From hating life a year ago to now feeling back to my normal self, I'm a fan of Cymbalta. Cymbalta has the least amount of side effects from the medications I had tried. 60mg tablets, once a day - this did the trick for my anxiety and depression. There were very FEW side effects for the first few weeks. I began to notice a change in my moods after being on Cymbalta for two weeks. After a month, things were MUCH different. Two months later I was almost back to my normal self! Antidepressants work well as a biochemical solution, but therapy is where the real solutions are at in my opinion. Cymbalta + Therapy = GREAT SUCCESS!

Have lymes disease for three years. This drug almost stops the pain entirely!I can also eat more foods that I had sensitivity too as well.Less emotional too. It's weird how I didn't know I was emotional until I started the medication. That started with the lymes too. Some side affects in the sexual dept though. Can't hide that being a guy, but,I feel like exercising for the 1st time in three years!Definitely worth trying.

It works really well. I had to stop taking it though because I am a college student and it is almost impossible to take when you drink any kinds of alcohol. It gives you the worst hangovers ever!! but without alcohol it worked well with my depression and anxiety. Now i am on prozac and it is the BEST thing i've eever takin I recommend it for anyone with anxiety

I think this stuff was invented as a joke on depressed people. Doesn't work, but alot of people I think are imagining it does because they believe all the hype and commercials

When I first started this drug at 60 mg, I was numb. I felt like maybe it was actually working. I'd say I was on if for about 1yr and 1/2. But then as time passed and my dosage was increased all HELL broke loose in my body! I would have tingling pains all over. Felt very floaty and overly anxious. Sort of like I was going to lose my mind...literally. It seemed to help me at first, but missing any doses or coming off it seems impossible. I do not recommend this at all.

Far and Away the very best drug I have ever taken for depression and anxiety. Please understand that drugs affect different people differently. However, this is the first drug I have ever taken that is effective for both the depression and the anxiety. I have been taking now for 18 mos. I have been treated for depression and anxiety for 10 years.

I took cymbalta for neuropathic pain (burning in my feet) after trying neurontin/gabapentin. I was on the 60mg dosage. I felt high all the time and could not get motivated to do my schoolwork. I stopped taking it after only 5 days so i could actually finish an assignment for my college classes. On the upside, it actually COMPLETELY alleviated my discomfort and allowed me to wear shoes normally! I might try it again when I have less responsibility...

This is a terrible drug. I was only on 40mg for mild adjustment disorder. I went from just a little anxious for the first time in my life to having full-blown depression, impulsivity, and aggressiveness. I was only on it for 2 months. I went off of it after a couple of really scare incidents and my Dr. felt that it was the Cymbalta. I'm not on anything now and feel so much better. Cymbalta was the scariest experience of my life and I feel like I lost 2 months of it!

The nice thing about this med is that it covers depression and ADHD.
