He's as cunning as Adolph Hitler minus the Holocaust.

I don't think he's stupid, I think he's actually quite cunning.I do, however, think he's intellectually incurious, and to my mind that's worse than stupidity.  After all, you can't do much about what brains you're born with, but you can do something about how you use them.

I believe he probable started out with an average IQ (or perhaps even slightly above average intelligence)  but has suffered from wet brain and/or cocaine burnout for many years. His attempts at cunning have backfired on him and the nation.

The disparity between the intellegence of what comes out of his mouth when the teleprompter is on and when the teleprompter is off is astounding. If that doesn't tell you something, I don't know what will.

He has two Ivy League degrees so he's is not a dope. He had better grades than John Kerry at Yale, for instance, and he also scored higher than Kerry on the IQ entrance exam for the military. Now ask me if I agree with very many of his policies? NOOOOO!

The more correct term for him is intellectually incurious. He already has many of his ideas about the world set, Bush is the type who doesn't like to question or second-guess. Some think its decisiveness, but some also consider it stubbornness and even arrogance. One thing's for sure, Bush is probably the most politically astute President to sit in the office since LBJ. He understands the political dynamics behind certain issues and events and can react to them effectively. That can help in passing your agenda. Unfortunately, that alone isn't enough to be a successful President. Also ask LBJ about that one.

Can I give this clown a minus 5?? Please??? There are no words to explain how disgusting and embarassing this guy is as Prez. The only satisfaction is that day by day more and more revelations come out about the corruptness of his administration!

Anyone who rates him above One Star just doesnt get it or is baised to a fault. GWB has to be the dimmest bulb and dumbest president in the Modern era. Bush is not well thought out, does not work hard at all, takes people for granted and has much smarter people around him who basically do his thinking for him. Publically he's a disgrace to anyone with rational intelligence. The number of speaking gaffes he's made are ridiculous and just plain stupid. Bush didnt know that there were diferent kinds of Iraqis in Iraq. The internet has pictures of blunders Bush has made. It's clear from what he says and does live : pausing seven minutes after hearing about the planes hitting the WTC, Telling a reporter he could'nt answer a question because he didnt have his pre-selected answers made for that question, walking into what he thought was a door in China, stealing John Kerry's move of taking notes during a Debate...Ugh the guy is DUMB !

daddy got him into Yale, he got marks that were even lower than typical Ivy-inflated grades, crashed businesses, was probably the least interesting or charismatic famous addict, and has perpetually butchered (in no particular order) first-amendment rights, foreign policy, a war based on false pretenses, and the English language. He is dumb, but his followers and apologists are stupider. . .

I think GWB suffers from the 'small fish in a big pond' syndrome. I think he is reasonably bright, and he is certainly witty at times, but he probably does not stack up with the likes of Clinton in terms of brainpower, but then again, I am sure most people do not. Also, come on everyone- he does deserve to be just a little higher up on the list than Jessica Simpson - here George, grab my hand - I'll pull you up.

I know many times I have ranted and raved against this man's stupidity, but to be fair as I have never seen his IQ test results, I cannot comment with ironclad certainty on how bright or how stupid he is. I really don't think he is anywhere near as bright as previous presidents like Nixon, Carter, and Clinton. It seems he needs several assistants like Cheney, Rove, and Condoleeza Rice to lead him around and tell him what to do and what to say. This does not indicate immense intelligence to me. I have heard many El Rightoes on this site say "But he went to Ivy League schools!" but that does not mean a helluva lot. He got into Yale as a "legacy" student, because his dad and other relatives were alumni of that prestigious institution. I'm not sure how he got into Harvard Business School, but I doubt his less than stellar grades at Yale made him a shoo-in. The sad truth of the matter is that Bushie-boy, in my estimation, probably possesses average intelligence or slightly below average int... Read more

You shouldn't call someone stupid just because he has different views from you. He got a higher I.Q. score than John Kerry. I'm giving him a five since there is a excess of bias here.

George MUST be a genius. Even Brando couldn't act like an idiot for this long.
