Hey, NBC! I know you've picked your pony with Brian Williams, but for pete's sake, if he needs a sub, send in Amy Robach. She's great and has the "feel" of a real national news anchor. There is another female anchor who sometimes subs, and boy, I don't know how you can let her get anywhere near that desk when Robach is around.

Some may think me wrong for saying this but I think she is gorgeous. She is also a talented anchor.

Very beautiful...it's a shame she has to work on the lowest rated cable news channel. maybe she'll switch to Fox where she belongs.

Her career shows it is better to be a news bunny, than a news buffalo.

Did you see Amy sub for Keith on Countdown on Friday night? A night to remember as she "let her hair down" a bit. Among other subjects she discussed the atributes of the naked American Idol female contestant, Harry Potter displaying his "magic wand" in a theatrical production & Ann Coulter's description of Presidential canditate John Edwards. Amy was laugh out loud funny & I'm glad I saved it to watch again.

So, here I am, waiting in earnest for KO's nightly truthing on "Countdown" when up pops this blonde stick of dynamite - Amy Robach. Goshes, Dondi, whata looka! And the outfit - right outa Vic Secret. What was that - a bra/blouse? Justa bra? Whatever it was/is, it got my attention and then some. Sometimes in this world, it's nice to have a diversion from all of the woes of this sad and beautiful world. Amy is a Class A Diversion. Oh, BTW - there also was news on the show that night. I think.

Amy would be a great replacement--she's very hot and not very intelligent but she can read the teleprompter just like Katie. it would be a smooth transition--dimwit eyecandy for dimwit eyecandy, everybody wins!

Amy is refreshing and articulate. She is so human and yet dignified. Her approach to examining newsmakers is relaxed and effective. I truly enjoy watching her and find her to be one of the most interesting newscasters in the media. Keep her in the slot, pay her morre and do not let her go! (Message tp MSNBC

Amy is in my opinion the most professional anchor on Cable TV - yes, ALL of Cable TV. Intelligent, exceptionally well spoken, great personality and leans a bit to the right which is FINE with me. I'm a news junkie and work from my home so I get to spend mornings with Amy for my daily AM news fix.

No doubt she's attractive, but apparently has no sense of humor. Either that or she's too stupid to hold her own on Imus and didn't want to be exposed. Too bad.

  • by

    Tue Mar 01 2005

Yes she is very good looking and she probably has a real future but I get the sense that she is little too hungry for her own good. Her performances on Imus were telling. Imus is much better off with Contessa Brewer who comes across as a much warmer person - not some overly made up Barbi Doll.

Sorry to see that she is not doing the news in the AM on the IMUS show, but I think the better fit for her is at the anchor desk immeadiately after that show goes off the air

i feel she does an awsome job in the news. she very pretty and very smart. i beleive she is the hottest news women anchor on tv right now. she should be proud of herself for that.

Amy is kind and good natured on the air a real credit to the community. She has only one goal to do the best job possible. She will go far as a newscaster and should be working on the Today show instead of the other fill-ins

  • by

    Sun Jan 16 2005

Apparently she is not just a bad newscaster, but also an ice princess, a backstabber, and a manipulator. She obviously gets angry when she doesn't get her way and will do ANYTHING to advance her career. MSNBC needs to get rid of her ASAP.

Another network is going to steal this great and beautiful newscaster from NBC. She has heart and humor on the air and makes the news even better. She should now be the fill in on the Today show. And I feel she is a great Interviewer.

She will hopefully get a primetime show of her own somewhere. Her hands are tied by reporting the hot news of the day. So it is hard to see what talent she really has or what kind of person she is. But from what I have seen I am a fan.

Eye candy but not too bright apparently. Once confused John Travolta with other actors who gained weight specifically for roles and had to be corrected on the air for her error. Another time asked the purpose of the signal cards used to deliver the Martha Stewart verdict...three minutes after the people being interviewed already said what their purpose was. Then there was the time Reagan was being mourned and Amy asked an expert on State Funerals how unusual it was for the government to shut down for a state funeral only to be corrected on the air that that was what always happened at a state funeral. And most recently when they were launching that space plane Amy blurted out I think it's coming down now! while it was clearly still going up. Add to that the fact that she can't interview her way out of a paper bag and talks too fast to cover up a lisp and what we have here is another example of the FOXification of MSNBC.
