Wendy's Old Fashioned Hamburgers

To be specific, I've had a regular hamburger, bacon cheese hamburger, fries and frosty and everything was delicious. I especially like the way the business started - family oriented - caring about the community and getting helping out financially with issues that are relevant.

They have some decent burgers and a delicious spicy chicken sandwich, you also gotta love their frosty's with french fries.

I actually went to this restaurant for the first time when I was 28 years old. I couldn't believe I never ate there before. I saw those square patties and thought they were cute and unique and taste really good. At that time though Wendy's restaurant itself was much much better then they are now a days. There tables used to be like newspapers of olden days which I would look at and try to read and was very pretty and entertaining. Then now they took those tables out and just replaced them with dull plain simple table. I don't know why they would do that.

I really like their food, but I've gotten food poisoning from two different Wendy's, so I will never eat there again.

I love Wendy's! I only wish I was located closer to one. I eat a LOT of chicken sandwiches and they have the best. I would take a spicy chicken sandwich over just about any other fast food choice available. Great nuggets and burgers too.

Worst service every time i go there Harrisonburg VA avoid it like the plaque. no one is american and everybody has horrible English can barely understand them. Every time i visit a Wendy's for my favorite food it is a terrible experience any where in the US and even once in the Virgin Islands. Im done with Wendy's i will never go there again and i suggest that you don't either.

Our local Sherman Wendy's has poor quality service. They could take a lesson from other places in hiring better. I don't find their seating comfortable. They are cutting back on costs by hiring the lowest paid people, crowding their diners in cheap seating. I never go there anymore if I can help it.

I find it funny that they're so proud of their hamburgers, but their chicken sandwiches are what's best on their menu - the spicy chicken sandwich and chicken club, in particular. The burgers aren't bad by any means, but Wendy's has the best fast food chicken sandwiches around! Of course, their signature Frosty is a work of art too. The absolute worst thing from Wendy's? The god awful chili. I'd rather eat Oprah's feces than eat that stuff.

You know what...not bad....I travel around WI quite a bit for work and once in a while I need to get some lunch or dinner and dont want anything too greasy. I will stop and get a Jr. Bacon Cheeseburger. It is like $1.25, very good veggies on it, not too greasy. Tides me over just fine. I haven't had much else here...I guess once I find somthin I like I stick with it.

it gets 3 stars for 3 things worth mentioning 1-frosty actually the only thing that is worth even going for 2-baked potato they used to be better before they started using smaller potatos. i wonder how many pennies they saved on that. 3-value menu when you need to feed a bunch of kids in a hurry Other than that Wendys has gone so far down hill and i'm still traumatized they took my mandarin chicken salad off the menu. How could they?

This place is BAWLIN' yo. Chicken nuggitz be crispy like you never SEEN. I tasted one and I was like "WHAAAAT! Are you serious Wendy?" Mean girls workin the friers, tho. This one chick wouldn't even let me holla. I was like "please you ugly anyway."

I use to love this place as a child, but now the quality of their food has gone down the drain..Soggy lettuce and tomatoes. The burgers are way to small for the prices they charge you. I only get chicken nuggets and frosties from this place because I will never spend more than a few bucks to eat here and Im usually a big spender when I eat out. The locations on Greens Rd and the one inside of Greenspoint mall makes me sick to my stomach just mentioning them because they are so nasty!!!

This used to be one of my favorite chains. The final straw was last week when my wife wanted to try the Bacon & Blue Burger. The poor thing looked worse than a McDonald's reject which is a pretty hard feat to accomplish.

The burgers are greasy. The spicy chicken are okay. the frostys are good, thay why it gets two stars, but I try to stay away from it as there are MUCH better fast food places.

If you ask me, "Where's the Grease?" should have been their slogan. I think you'd be better off eating a slab of lard served on a bun with a bucket of limp saturated fat soaked fries. The diet coke isn't going to help matters much either.

They are pretty good. I go to them more than say Mcdonalds or Burger King because they are healthier. I can get a baked potato instead of french fries and I can get a hamburger or a chicken sandwich without the bun. I also like how they have the light lemonade as I dont like diet soda. The only thing about them is that they are SO slow. I feel like I am waiting in line forever. Good food though although they have screwed up my order a couple of times.

This is my favorite fast food restaurant. It has been proven to be the healthiest out of many other fast food restaurants. The employees are usually more helpful and kinder than burger king or mcdonalds. I feel like whenever I go there, I never have a problem and the food is always fresh. My favorite thing here is the chicken sandwiches because I believe they are seasoned very well and they are nice size chicken breasts. I occasionally have a bad experience with the food or employee but definitely not as much as I do at McDonalds or Burger King.

Things I like about Wendy's: baked potato, chili, Frosty, grilled chicken sandwiches. Their breakfast is pretty decent too. What I don't like: Their fries are quite bland and not crispy enough for my taste. Their burgers are also bland and mega-greasy. They do not make a good fried chicken sandwich, and the salads are simply...mediocre. The ranch dressing on their ranch wrap is pretty icky as well. I must say that their prices are quite good for the amount and quality of food.

Pretty decent food, but can't compare when you have had a chance to eat at In-n-Out.

I don't go here as much as I go to McDonalds, but I need to. The food is good, and more healthy looking than McDonald's. The salads are good, but they are pretty big considering they are just salads. The service is a little better than McDonald's too, which is another positive for Wendy's.

I am a fan of the wendy's chicken club sandwhich. The chicken sandwhich on their menu beats Mcdonalds, burger king, and another fast food any day. I order it w/o the mayo tho.

I think Wendy's has the best hamburger of all the hamburger chains, BUT, I really get upset with them advertizing on TV with 99 cents burger and other items yet you can not find a single Wendys that will honor that advertizement. Everyone I have gone to charges $1.39 for all the cheaper burgers,chickens etc. I think that should be illegal and it discourages me from giving them a good rating. I have gone to Farmville, Virginia, Lynchburg,Va. Appomattox, Va. and they all charge the larger amount. It should not be advertized on National TV if that is not the price.

I hate to say it but if there's ever a reason to have more work regulations Wendy's is it. I hope somewhere Dave Thomas is spinning in his grave, because if I was him I'd be furious with the way the management are told to treat their workers. I use to work at Wendy's and it's the most Horrible job I ever had. I only had one boss I really liked, the rest were total pissants. One was an old lady who's memory I swear was suffering from some severe lapse, and two other managers acted like damn 15 year old kids, they even on several occasions were known to threaten their workers (one mentioned she was going to smack another worker in the head for something totally stupid). Another time a manager bitched me out because I was taking "too long" to get the garbage and he didn't even ask me to come back in, in front of 20 people he said "CAN'T YOU SEE THE LINE??" My family and I go to Wendy's often. Today we went to one in League City Texas and the cashier had a horrible attitude. She had mixed up our drinks and she had left the register and gone into the back........I assume it was the manager telling her that she had to stay at the register and the attitude again...... speaking in Spanish and rude..........no smile or thank you to be found! She was having a bad day but she sure wasn't helping any making anyone else's day nice. Very rude!
