    Why shop at Shop.com? I didn't realize that shop.com is just a search engine. If you have a problem with your order, you have to contact the seller directly. Even then, their "affiliates" are questionable. Maybe not all, but I happened to pick one that is. I bought a Christmas gift for my daughter on Nov. 18 and here it is Dec. 22 and it still hasn't arrived. After several unanswered emails and phone calls, I got a message today that her gift was shipped yesterday! So much for shopping early for Christmas... Yes, shop.com did step in after I complained, but the fact is this is an unnecessary extra layer of complexity for a simple purchase transaction. Bottom line: Maybe use their search function, but shop direct and know who you are buying from just as with anything shopping on the net. I made the mistake of trusting a third party for screening merchants for me. Never again.

    BUYER BEWARE This place sucks. What a rip-off. There just a middleman for other stores. Then they forget to tell the other stores about your purchase. Ordered an item three weeks before Christmas. Figured it shipped. Boy was I wrong. Called the actual store one week before. They never heard of my order. Called SHOP.COM. They said theyd get right on it. Five days later (four days before Christmas) they E-mail me the actual store did not have the item. NEVER BUY FROM THIS STORE.

    I purchased an ankle bracelet through shop.com from smartbargains.com. I was overcharged by smartbargains.com so I contacted shop.com to correct. They said they would pass email to smartbargains.com. I never heard back from either company. I contacted shop.com again and still no response. I finally contacted smartbargains.com directly by phone and they issued me a credit on the spot. I am convinced shop.com didn't forward the email to smartbargains.com. I was very happy with smartbargains.com's service and very disappointed with shop.com. I would not do business with them again!!

    Lots of broken images, super slow search - Shop.com would not appear to be up there with the top tier shopping engines.
