Named after a former Governor of New South Wales, Darling Harbour is a commercial port-turned-tourist area. The area was revitalized in the 1980’s, and now has over a hundred shops and restaurants. Located here are attractions such as the National Maritime Museum, the Chinese Garden of Friendship, the Powerhouse Museum, the Sydney Aquarium, and more.
