I need to buy some black shorts like the one's the girls wear here. Any clue where you get them? Wait a minute, I know how that must sound... I've got a bar in California, it's not like I want to do the "Silence of the Lamb dance.." [email protected]

Hair nets are NOT required for servers by the health dept. Overall, I give Bone Daddy's an excellent rating, because the food is pretty good and the atmosphere (including scenery) is fantastic. However, for long time fans, I have to caution you that over the past 6 months the food has gone downhill. They've made menu changes that are just terrible, and cheap. The food is still better than typical barbeque, but it ain't what it used to be!

Some of the best barbecue, I have ever eaten. Even my fiancee' enjoyed the food after she stopped griping about the scenery. We eat there at least twice a month.

NOT a FAMILY RESTAURANT...unless you plan to leave the young children, teenaged boys and mid-life crisis hubby at home! Food is best served by servers wearing clothing...at NO TIME did I see a hair restraint of ANY kind in use...long flowin hair over my food being served is NOT something I think the Health Department would approve of! EAT AT YOUR OWN RISK!

I'm not sure about what goes down in Austin, but I always have a great time when I go to Dallas. Just went today, and had a wonderful blonde serve us. She was very nice and friendly. Yes there is a wait, but seriously you can't complain about waiting with the atmosphere and all the TV's can you. Well worth the money, and the Server was worth the tip.

i've always been skeptical about hooters-esque restaurants. i've been to hooters a few times... not my idea for any of these of course. but dragged by friends for bachelor parties or to watch games. along with twin peaks, fox and the hound, and babes. none of these places impressed me much at all. however, i went to bonedaddy's last weekend with a buddy of mine and was blown away. i came in there expecting the same thing, but was pleasantly surprised. the service was excellent, along with the food, and the place had an interesting atmosphere. not to mention, great scenery! i found myself almost making up things to ask our waitress lisa, just so we could have her come back to our table. she was sweet, genuine, and very attractive. much like the rest of the staff. two thumbs up here. and i will be back again soon!

I just got back from a businees trip out at Texas Instruments. Some co-workers took me to Bone Daddies for lunch my first day out there. I had a blast! The girls all had that down home southern sweetness! Not to mention they were just flat out gorgeous. I had the utmost pleasure of having Gisella as my food server, She was nothing but first class. Her attitude, her demeanor, her professionalism were impeccable. She is the WHOLE package. Her beauty was spectacular!! Gisella, if you read this, Thanks for a killer lunch! It was, "GOOD TIMES". She was even cool enough to gather all the cuties and take a pic with me (Wasn't even my bday :)..) Now about the food. I had four lunches in a row there, the chicken, brisket and cobb salad I tried were all great. No complaints. The only complaint I did have was the fact that lunch was too short :). I will no doubt be back there on my next business trip. And if there is a god, Gisella will still be working there. I swear that girl would make a marr... Read more

longtimme customer of Richardson location. Staff is usually great, though like any place, ocassional bumps in the road. what has me really steamed is the smaller portions. this is not an inexpensive place- a sandwich and a soda will cost you over $10.00 plus tip, so I expect a sandwich loaded with meat, like they used to do, and the sides need to be mroe generous too- except fries and rings- which are always well proportioned.

I was here on a business trip and saw Bone Daddy's BBQ on the way to a client. Kept that in mind. I always want BBQ or steak in Texas. I had eaten lunch with that client at Razzoo's across the parking lot. They said that it was good. Nothing else. I was in for a surprise when I went for dinner solo. My client never told me anything about their outfits. Good eye candy but I was worried about the quality of the food. No worries. Good steak and excellent service by Gisella. She was the classiest one in the place, bar none.

I went to Bone Daddy's about 4 weeks ago for the first time with a girl that works there cause she still loves the food. We walked in and i was blown away by the amazingly awesome staff and the super scrumptious food. In the past 4 weeks i have eaten there more then i have at my own home. Birthdays are great they get all of the girls around and take a picture with the birthday brat. The wait honestly is the worst but it is def. without a doubt of worth it. In most places like that you expect ok food with ok girls but the girls are respectful and stunning and the food is just mouthwatering. FYI When you call in advance to book your table they answer the phone Who's your daddy?

How can you not like Bone Daddy's in Austin??? The food is great, the prices are good, the waitresses are the prettiest and friendliest girls in Austin -- their nice even when we drool. It's true, girlz rule; boyz drool. Bone Daddy's is the best in Texas; those girls deserve a web page!

I love eating at Bone Daddy's because not only their food rocks, but their wait staff girls are fabulous! Plus, my bestfriend ASHLEY works there (she looks like a black Barbie doll) and she is a sweetie! Go visit her and tell her about this rating! ;)

I personally have never been a fan of those chicks in tight shirts style places because the food was all but inedible and despite the great view I did go there to eat or drink. That said I always have a positive experience at Bone Daddy's. The food is always good (some dishes better than others) and the wait staff is incredibly attentive. My gal and I dine there fairly regularly and there are few items on the menu we wouldn't have aain. Overall you can do far worse for food but I don't think you can top the staff there. If you're in Richardson, Texas take a minute and have the steak sandwich at Bone Daddy's. You'll enjoy the experience.

Been there twice while visiting from Columbus Ohio to see my brother. I was a General Manager for Hooters for 7 years, and have never seen or ate anywhere even close to a Hooters! Food portions are great, value is good, beer is from an ice trough, and the girls are beutiful. I have never hired a better looking staff. This place would actually make me want to work in the industry again! Highly recommend.

I went to Bone Daddy's last night for the first time. My friends took me there for my birthday. I had a great time. The waitstaff was friendly and the food was great. I will definately go back as often as I can, and for me it's a 300 mile drive to Dallas. None of the Hooters restraunts that I have been to where I live come close to the quility of establishment that Bone Daddy's is.

I have been a customer of the Richardson Bone Daddies since it opened. I have had the majority of the items on the menu. I keep going back because 1) the food is fantastic 2) the waitstaff is courteous and friendly. I have a couple of favorites on the menu. The steak sandwich is very good (recommended by a waitress) and the ribs are seasoned right and -fall off the bone- tender. I can compare this to another chain restaurant (where the girls wear orange uniforms) and say that the service is better, the food is not only better it is healthier, and the girls do not have the same attitude as the chain restaurants employees. On a side note, Razzoo's owns Bone Daddies and the waitstaff at both restaurants is almost identical. They throw a good Fat Tuesday party. I had so much fun at last nights tent party, it is a memory that is permenently etched in my brain. Kudos to the management on their clothing decision for the event. Best fun I have had -not- on Bourbon Street! Make it a point to... Read more

I work there. I am not stupid and I am not a slut. If you can't handle confident women in a work place, then DON'T GO!!!! I understand you might not have know what to expect. But I can assume that you made up your mind as soon as you walked in the door. That really isn't fair, especially for the girls like me who are just trying to get through school. One more thing all the girls I work with are great, not slutty. We are just doing what we have to. I can pay my rent in the tips I make in two nights!! The food rocks too.

I agree with all these other chicks, that the first chick who rated Bone Daddy's is probably just not secure enough with herself to enjoy being in the company of attractive women. Just because someone dresses scantily does not make them a slut. Im sure she wouldnt like someone to judge her strictly by her appearance. The lovely women who work at Bone Daddy's are mostly college students trying to pay their way through school and know that the best way to make enough money to pay for a good school like UT is to show a little skin and give the best service possible. Also, they know that a place that serves such good food at a slightly higher price than say Rudys or Dickeys is always a winner when it comes to tips. Someone who trashes the girls for just using what God gave them to help them get an education for their real careers is seriously disturbed. I often dine at Bone Daddy's with my friends from work (also females) and we enjoy the food and service immensely. We are always tr... Read more

Okay, for the person who said that the management said it was their policy not to seat tables, i'm hoping you were at the Austin bone daddys because the Dallas bone daddy's is more than helpful in any measure like that. For the girl who felt uncomfortable, the outfits arent anything more than a pair of shorts and a cute baseball shirt, tied up if you wish. Since when has the food been horrible and the waitstaff rude? The place is great! And for all those comparing bone daddy's to hooters, there is no comparison, bone daddy's wins all around, the waitstaff is actually friendly, the management aren't jerks and the food rocks!

If there was one below 1 star we would rate it at the lowest!!!!! We turned around at the door and left before getting to the seats. We did not get past the front door. We ask for a table (not booth) and were told that they were not seating tables yet, the boothes were not full yet. We were a party of 5 (with one of the party in a wheel chair) Can't rate the food, but the service sucks. Management said that this was thier policy and it couldn't be changed.

I work five minutes from Bone Daddy's. (In Dallas.) Needless to say I'm in there quite a bit. The food is fab-o-luss. The waitstaff has always been fun and friendly. The joint itself is decked out and lit up, so the atmosphere is great. (If I ever went back to waiting tables, I would want to work there.) The only drawback is the unrelenting crowds that appear around mealtimes. The waiting sucks. I suggest you call ahead.

Mmmmmmgood! I visited Bone Daddy’s for the first time this last Tuesday while on a business trip. This was my first visit to Texas. I asked before leaving some folks where to get great BBQ food in Austin and was told County Line. I went to County Line the Monday before Bone Daddy’s. The County Line food was as cold as the service. The next day we drove by Bone Daddy’s, and was told by a local it was like Hooters with BBQ. We thought we would give it a try that evening; after all could it be any worse then our experience at County Line. To our surprise Bone Daddy’s BBQ was excellent! In addition to the great BBQ meats there were many excellent appetizers and side items. The service was also excellent and of course the ladies beautiful (not tacky beautiful like the Hooters women, but classy beautiful). The ambiance was also great, a fun place to hang out for the evening. Gloria R did a great job taking care of us. I look forward to my next trip to Austin so I can go to Bone Daddy’s agai... This "chick" must be incredibly jealous. Sounds like some fat reject who didn't know where she was going when she arrived. I love the place. My best friend and I go in all the time! We are both mid-20s, straight female women. M. Leatherwood, you made a brilliant concept! This is on my "Hot Concept" list. The food is great; awesome ribs! If anyone tries to compare this with "Dickey's", they should keep spending their 2 dollars at the local gas-station drive-thru, and move on. Bone Daddy's is great! My boyfriend loves it, too!!!! (Yay me!!!)

The so-called "Chick's Opinion" is obviously biased and based upon a jealous woman or, more likely, girl. My experience was excellent. The Manager was attentive to our table, and the staff was beautiful. Hooters should be so happy to have the quality of personnel that Bone Daddy's has. There is a pervasive atmosphere of fun that is focused upon the individual. The food is of excellent quality for this type of establishment, and I only lament that there is no "Bone Daddy's" local to me here in Northern VA. My dear friend and I when driving to our hotel on our visit saw the Bone Daddy's sign, and instantly turned to each other and said "Bone Daddy's", we are definitely there. This was based largely upon the name, but upon visiting and being presented a fun and attentive staff, validated our expectations. Bone Daddy's is definitely worth a visit, especially if you like nice people and good barbecue.

This place is a bunch of Hooters rejects and horrible food. A girl friend and I went, being the only girls there besides the slutty waitresses we felt like we were in a strip joint. I almost stuck ones in our waitresses shorts. The food is equal to Dickey's BBQ with double the price. All in all, its a place for people with NO CLASS.

So long Hooters, hello Bone Daddy's! Finally, someone came up with the brilliant idea of having a restaurant with good-looking waitresses in skimpy outfits AND good food! The menu offers a good selection and all of the four or five entres I've tried have been excellent. So don't put up with snootey waiters or waitresses that could scare the skin off a snake, go to Bone Daddy's!

I visited Dallas recently, and some friends took me to Bone Daddy's for lunch. First of all, the wait staff is made up exclusively of young, friendly, attractive women, wearing Hooters-esque T-shirts and short shorts. That alone is worth four stars. But, as it turns out, the food is really good, too. My friends ordered the "Beer-can Violated Chicken" for me, just to see the look on my face when the waitress put this bird in front of me with an old Schlitz can rammed up its butt. I was definitely sorry that I couldn't stick around Dallas and work my way around the menu a little bit more.

One never goes to Hooters for the food. This is an establishment loosely based on the Hooters model; with one very noticeable exception…you can go for the food. However, the choices on the menu are somewhat limited--it’s your basic meat and potatoes. The wait staff is top notch...very professional and courteous. I hope that service/quality doesn’t diminish as the chain expands.

I made my second visit here today. This is the first restaurant in a planned chain, by the founder of Razzoo's. I highly recommend the Lucky Mojo Steak Sandwich. This is without a doubt the BEST steak sandwich I have ever had (and I love my steak sandwiches). The Beer-can violated Chicken is great, as well. The waitresses are awesome; people who actually CONVERSE with the customers, and genuinely appear to enjoy their job. (Hats off to Christine...she sold us on the place) A definite 5 stars.
