Of course, all of crimes occuring are more catastrophic than this, but this could have numerous effects in the future. First off, all of the litter and garbage could devastate the already-polluted flood waters in the city. Even more, it could be a danger and a horrible tasks for those who are charged with cleaning up the city once the chemical mixture is drained from New Orleans proper. A more organized trash disposal effort should have definately been in place.
