 | Cricketbug (0) 09/20/2008 | Being the second amendment ranks up there as important. Our right to have a gun was originally made to make sure the government knew they needed to stay in check. We are letting them loose their fear of the people.

 | jgls (14) 05/04/2008 | according to the 2nd amendment, the right to keep and bear arms should not be abridged. if you want to enact gun laws, amend the 2nd amendment. until then, keep your filthy hands off my guns.

 | Chalky Studebaker (18) 08/20/2007 | Ever since the 'super soaker' incident of 92, I have never been a big fan of guns but I truely do believe in the right to bear arms. Most accidents are cause by irresponsible owners.

Right. Maybe when Ceasar was king, but how's it stack up against a
Mossberg 590. I'd rather they take away every other amendment to the
Constitution than grab this one. At least with a gun, you can retrieve the other 27 or so. It's gonna be a lot harder to dethrone tyranical mofo's like Coward Dean with a loaf of french bread and a spork...

 | CanadaSucks (51) 03/03/2007 | A citizenry should be armed. . .the second amendment is a good thing- but I rate this one real low because I don't see the 2nd amendment under seige or rights to own pistolas being taken away. . .I also don't think people should own bazookas either. . .it's not an issue to me because I don't percieve a threat. . .I should be allowed to own a gun (whether I want to or not is something else)- and I should license (sp?) them as well. . .

 | GenghisTheHun (183) 03/03/2007 | The Katrina mobs in New Orleans show that barbarians are just around the corner, and you must be ready to act to protect yourself, family and property.
The state is not going to help you when the chips are down. The state wants to protect itself against YOU!

 | sfalconer (22) 09/06/2005 | The right to bear arms is one thing if your living in a country that is emerging from colonial rule. It's a right that not everyone should have and yet a lot of the wrong people are very well armed

 | James76255 (25) 08/17/2005 | While I think this is important, like all of our Constitutional rights, I would hardly call this a burning issue at the moment.
