Despite its location at the southern tip of the continent, Cape Town is the place where Africa meets Europe and Asia. In the streets there are people of all backgrounds to live together for a decade and never did in the days of apartheid. Its population is extremely diverse, which creates a human granriqueza discover the neighborhoods and go enjoy the cuisine and music.

From the top of Table Mountain or from a boat in the bay, includes Cape Town and admires its view

It is always said that Cape Town at the foot of Table Mountian and the sea, it boasts one of the world's most beautiful locations, so the first thing to do is check it out yourself.

The easiest is to take the chairlift up to the top of Table Mountain . To reach the station take a bus from the tourist office or a mini-bus taxi Adderley Road. From the top you get a view almost the whole city, the bay and the surrounding area and if you go at a later time Signal Hill, a hill from which one sees the city at the foot of the mountain.

Most attractions within the city are concentrated in the so-called City Bowl, which is divided into Upper and Lower Centres and the Waterfront.

There are two rides that you can not miss: one is called Museum Mile, which is Goverment Avenue primarily through the Company's Gardens and passes through the South African Museum , the Planetarium , the National Art Gallery, the Great Synagogue, Parliament , the Cathedral of St. George (open mornings only).

The other ride is along a parallel street, Long Street, and here are different attractions: bars, boutiques, cafes, cheap hotels, bookstores and restaurants. Some say that this street is the spiritual center of the city.

Like Rio and Vancouver and Hong Kong, one of the great natural ports of the world. Very pretty city. Again, I was there in the last years of the old regime, so can't really comment on it at this time. Went up Table Mountain, very specatacular.
