A surprisingly entertaining game but what the hell are they doing mixing up FF characters with a cheese ball Disney story? Why not make up new characters or use more Disney characters and leave FF out of it?

I wasn't too big on the combination of Disney and FF characters. I usually like playing games that have either serious characters or not-so-serious characters. The combination just threw me off a little. Game play was excellent though. I'm really glad it wasn't turn-based, because I'm not the biggest fan of that. The story line was also admirable. It got kind of cheesy at times, but over all it ended up being a great, dramatic ending to an awesome game. Kingdom Hearts 2 was a lot better. Sora was so much more hardcore than in the first one, but I guess some of that credit goes to Roxas.

A pretty unique PS2 game. The combination of Disney and SquareSoft characters was interesting. I gave this a four because it can get frustrating at times.

Kingdom Hearts is a fun game that has disney characters involved in the game.  It is a RPG game and you end up going to a all these different disney worlds that you have to work your way through.  Some of the places that you end up going to are Wonderland, Agrabah, Monstro, Halloween Town, and Never Land.  The only thing is that this game can be very frustrating.  Overall a good game for the playstaion 2.

When I decided to upgrade to a PlayStation 2 recently, I knew their were two games I had to get. The first was the 24 Game, and, after hearing the hype surrounding it, the second was Kingdom Hearts. It did not disappoint. Once I got past the opening island stage (which to be honest was a bit lame), I was shockingly addicted. Multiple complex worlds with numerous areas combined with unpredictible enemies that come out of nowhere make this one of the most well thought out games ever. I will definitely be looking for Kingdom Hearts 2.

Kingdom Hearts was a very original game, and because of the blend between Disney and Square-Enix, it was popular with a lot of people. It's an action RPG, so it's not monotonous, at least not for the majority of the game. The main character, accompanied by Donald and Goofy, travel to many Disney worlds and interact with a variety of Disney characters, including Alice, Hercules, Tarzan, Aladin, Arielle, Pinnochio, Peter Pan, and the Beast, among others. There's a great deal of variety, and the developers did their best to make things as close to the original as possible. Therefore, when possible, the voice actors from the Disney movies also did the voiceovers for the characters. However, there are a few problems with this game. First, it gets off to a very slow start. Secondly, the player often feels as if he or she is dragged into long battles extremely frequently. Third, some of the boss battles seem disproportionately difficult. Those problems can be extremely frustrating at... Read more
