Ray Romano, Patricia Heaton, Brad Garrett, Doris Roberts, Peter Boyle. "Everybody Loves Raymond" 2

A few smiles here and there, but I just don't find it funny. Then again, I don't find most modern sitcoms funny.

Ray Romano, Patricia Heaton, Brad Garrett, Doris Roberts, Peter Boyle. "Everybody Loves Raymond" 1

Subdued, uninspiring performances based on uncreative, mean-natured material. Not stand-out at all--especially as yet another "Dumb Husband with beautiful, patient, intelligent wife" show.

Ray Romano, Patricia Heaton, Brad Garrett, Doris Roberts, Peter Boyle. "Everybody Loves Raymond" 4

Ensemble performances depended on witty dialogues that were mostly better than the occasionally erratic set-up situations, but there is no team in current sit-coms that is their equal.

I'll give a second star for Boyle. The rest of them are beneath garbage.

Ray Romano, Patricia Heaton, Brad Garrett, Doris Roberts, Peter Boyle. "Everybody Loves Raymond" 3

They were good together but Heaton's character went dowhhill into some kind of feminist rant about stupid men. The problem was that Romano's character got more stupid.
