She had a great run and although many say that she ran the office while her husband Bill Clinton was President I do not think the American people were ready for a female president.

She was a very impressive woman, but didn't have what it took to pull through and become a president.

I'll admit, politics are not my strong suit, so I'm far from an expert reviewer here. But I have always liked Senator Clinton, and I was very excited when she ran for the Democratic presidential nomination. I'd love to see her run again in the future.

I don't believe she would be elected. I do admire her for her time as Sectary of State.

I'm impressed that she stayed with her husband after the Monica Lowinsky scandal. That was brave and forgiving of her. She has my sincerest condolences. As a political figure, she may be popular but I'm not sure she's great at what she does.

Sarah Palin makes Hillary Clinton look as smart as a Rocket Scientist, Brain Surgeon and Nuclear Physicist all roll into one. Something tells me she would have aced that Katie Couric interview and would not have told Katie Couric that she could see Russia from Palin's house in Alaska. A little known secret is that she got a majority of the black and Hispanic votes in the first Democratic Primaries against Obama. The young liberals and Independent white college kids tipped Obama over the top. She turned off many a young college student for her support of the war in Iraq. Later, George W. Bush confessed to having made a mistake on starting the war over what he thought were weapons of mass destruction. Blacks did not automatically render support for Obama because few had heard of him and thought a vote for him would be wasted on a black candidate who could not win due to the historical racism in this country. Having said that she can win the majority of Black and Latino votes. Women are ... Read more

It was great that a fellow new yorker was going to go for the white house, plus the fact that she was a lady made the elections even more interested. I like that she was more for the new health care plan. I was all go hard for it but then she started back talking about Obama and that for me is not very lady like

She is one of the top and powerful leaders of America today. I have high-hopes for her that she can re-shape America again and become a trusted Nation like before during the time of his President Reagan and his husband.

Well, I think I should mention at first that this has no relevance now, with it being 2012 and not 2008. If it was 2008, I would approve of her attempting to become the president. It would be a good change of pace to see how a woman would take over the country. Plus, making history wouldn't be too bad either!

She would have made a great first lady president. If she could take having a player as a husband and be ridiculed and took it she could handle anything, not that clinton wasn't a great president he just got caught with his pants down.

I thought Feminism was supposed to be a form of revolution.  All that seemed to change was that the reins were wrenched from the hands of male narcissistic control freaks and placed in the hands of female narcissistic control freaks...like Hillary. She's the sterile, impassive, always-in-control Mom that used to drive kids to rebel against them.  Then, again, there's that shrill hyperbolic nagging screech that (married and divorced) men adore soooooooooo much.I think what turns me off about her more than anything is that I get the impression that Her Majesty so eagerly wants to get over the campaigning thing so she can take her rightful place, after having replaced the OTHER emperor.

There is something very sexy about women who are either ambitious or are driven to success. And then again, there is something absolutely sick about those who are obsessed or preoccupied with absolute power- and who would try to gain it any cost. With that in mind, I always felt bad for Bill Clinton because it seems that Hillary was selfish (and ruthless) in her quest for power, doing more to advance HERSELF than anything. As a dream date? No way! I like the normal give and take of a balanced relationship over the likely selfish-Hillary motif: "It's ME before WE!"

If she were my age, she'd be perfect. She's decent looking, but more importantly, she's a very strong woman - which is much better than having a trophy girlfriend. She's very smart, inspiring, articulate, ambitious and thoughtful. She would be an equal partner; not a stay in the kitchen and make babies wife. And since I'm a political junkie, we'd have a lot in common, and that would be beneficial to each other in our carriers - like with Bill and Hillary's marriage.

She's getting better in terms of being more responsible with her comments. Of course, this means she is positioning herself for a run in 2008. I could never vote for her because I disagree with her political philosophy. At the same time, I support her right to disagree politically as long as it is done in a respectable manner.

People whine about her a lot, but I've never had it explained to me why. What has she done that is so horribly left-wing? Yea, HillaryCare, but the Republicans passed that themselves!

  • by

    Mon Jun 27 2005

Alright, Hillary's deplorable (as an American) but spartacus' question deserves an answer as not all of us have lived through the Hillary's evolution from being a lawyer with questionable ethics (no big surprise) to a Bill's coat-tails hanger onner to being the anti-feminist to enabler of her husbands psychological problems. Her Dad, Hugh Rodham, was a business magnate in Chicago and as staunch a conservative republican as you could find. When Hillary started to get politically active, started hanging out with this politically active liberal zealot (Bill), Hugh didn't object, figured she'd outgrow it. When Bill ran for Congress, she was deep in the background. When he ran for Lieutenant Governor of Arkanses, few people noticed her. When he ran for, and was elected, Governor of Arkansas, she stayed in the background. Don Tyson had contributed mightily to Bill's campaign because he was looking for a Governor who would sign into law a bill raising the weight limits on trucks in Arka... Read more

I never trust anyone who markets themselves as a 'moderate' ala, Rudy, McCain, Joe Biden, Lieberman. I'll probably end up voting for her, but she better tread lightly, and do the right thing. Especially if she ends up inheriting this bullsh%t war.

I think that Hilay Clinton is a very lucky woman just look at her husband hes the president and unlike all these other old worn out dumpy looking men weve elected president so far Bill Clinton is actually like the hottest one well beside John F Kennedy who was oh so adorable so i dont think she should give a danm what her husband does as long as she can make love to him hes hott i think that Bill Clinton,Hilary Clinton< and MONICA LEWINSKI should have a threesome how hott.

Hillary is the optimized-looking corporate bitch all of us have to work with at the executive level. She's smart but her instincts and opinions suck. She is hands-down the most polarizing figure in recent history. The Republicans could run Dumb and Dumber against her in 2008 and still roll over her like a steamroller!

Here is yet another who should move to France. Hillary is one of the reasons that it will be a long time before we have a Woman President. Wait a minute I forgot she already was President. Who would want to take the this frosty battle axe on a date, not even Bill would do that.
