My daughter and I used this site on our recent backpacking trip around the world (SE Asia, India, Turkey, Greece in particular.) The site is well-designed and easy to navigate; up to date; provides photos, accurate information, and user ratings; met our expectations for accuracy and security; provided a chance to follow up. The coverage is spotty in some areas (India) and contains a range of options (not just budget). You can often find better places and better bargains, but HostelWorld provided reliable choices at reasonable prices. We'll use it on our next trip.
