Patricia Heaton

I had the following review in a list of famous conservatives. I honestly didn't know that I had to rate on what I thought of her politics on that list. I did read that she was Republican (not that her politics really matter to me), but I don't know about a lot of her political contributions. So not to be off-topic, I have deleted the review from the former list and located this list which seems much more appropriate, so..... here's the review again: She seems to be a versatile and talented comic actress, first as Debra in "Everybody Loves Raymond" and now in a new comedy (yes, I find a few newer programs here and there that I actually like) which is called "The Middle" in which she plays Frankie, the mother of the offbeat Heck Family.

Patricia Heaton may not be in real life the character she portrayed on "Everybody Loves Raymond", but I have a hard time forgetting what an incredibly humorless spoil sport and nag that she was to Raymond for so many years.  I never thought her "hot" or "sexy".  I never understood why Raymond chased her for sex like a hyperactive hound.  She was a sour puss in that role and that's how I remember her.  And my intelligence is insulted when others raise her up to be so sexy and wonderful.  Not in my book!

Love her so much! Amazing actress especially for her roll on Everybody Loves Raymond! amazing!!

I think she looks GREAT!  Especially with longer hair and all dressed up.  One of the hottest older women on the set!

Ms. Heaton is a strong actor who, while somewhat appreciated, has not received the full critical acclaim she so deserves. Her comedic acting is at least equal to Lucy and her dramatic range and acting ability was undermined because she was cast playing a character that came across as "bitchy" on "RAYMOND" thus less sympathetic therefore oft overlooked by critics and audience come voting time. She is a fine talent!

Never liked her on "Raymond" she was annoying like the wife on "Home Improvement". Also she is a plain jane. Not the least bit sexy.

She was pretty hot in 2000 .

Patricia Heaton is one of the reasons Everybody Loves Raymond is my favorite TV show (the main reason is because it's hilarious). She is sexy and smart. It dosen't get much better than that.

I thought she was attractive and feisty on Raymond. I knocked her down a peg because of the mean-spiritedness of her character in the last few years of the series.
