This was the first smokeless tobacco I tried--and, several years later, I'm surprised I continued with it. The mint flavoring was overpowering--I couldn't taste tobacco at all. Dipping toothpaste would give you the same flavor. Fortunately, my tastes have matured since then.

They are no longer going to make Rooster so if you find some you may want to buy the roll. Many places online will allow you to purchase it... however take note of the lot information on the bottom of the can (no, that's not a date). Cans from certain places are un-chewable they're so bad so be wary. Product quality varies greatly.

i went into a tobacco shop seeing this and laughing at the price because it was so cheap. suprisingly, it was a ton better than i expected. the flavor is super strong. normally i just dip copenhagen or red seal but this is good stuff. i bought a roll for $8 and now have my friends hooked on it. try it..

This is the second cheapest cheap that I can find where I'm from... right behind Red Seal (If you don't know what that is then don't worry about it... nothing special), so for only $3.60 - $4.00 a can, it is compared to a Grizzly Mint flavor and packs easily. If you get a chance and are low on money, try it... you'll like it!

im only 17 but ive chewed a combination of skoal wintergreen and grizzly wintergreen since i was 14, but about 2 months ago i realized that some stores started to carry rooster. One day i tried the bold wintergreen and loved it no different than skoal for $1.19 but all the time ive been dipping i have hated skoal mint more than any other brand of chew. i recently tried icy mint and refuse to chew anything else as long as i live.

Rooster is very underrated!! It is kinda hard to find in most places but when you find it, it is like finding gold! The icy mint is really really good and now the price dropped to about 1-2$ a can in most areas. Now i really want to try the wintergreen. Rooster is the shit!!!

I converted from long cut cope, and I,ve been loving it since. Ive chewed tons of other brands, cope snuff, kodiak, grizz, skoal, and flavors of mint, cherry, berry, original, natural, and on. Many, or most of my friends chew grizz n love it. They hate on my rooster, but when theyre out of dip... theyre beggin. Anyway, around here rooster was expensive for a while, and the price suddenly dropped to where it should have been all along. Stoopid, I tell you. I guess, in conclusion, I choose Rooster over all else. For my loyalty, I think I should get paid some sort of dividend for getting raped for many years. According to my calculations, Rooster owes me about $535 for each year I paid $6 a can. That includes a modest 3 cans a week. I bought Rooster at $6 a can for about 3 years. Thats over $1500... hook it up Rooster.

I have dipped Rooster when I couldn't get grizz.  One time I was hired for a job blowing stumps out of the neighbor's dairy farm pasture, and my can of Rooster fell out of my pocket and rolled down a ground squirrel hole.  That panicked the entire colony of the little varmints and they ran over to Vermont.  I don't think we have any ground squirrels left in New Hampshire.

I have been dipping this since it came out. I remember it was two cans for $1.39 at Go-Mart. Then the price jumped to almost $5.00. Now it is down to $1.00 a can. I love it!!!! It is by far the best snuff I have ever tasted. It smells good too. I have tried others but nothing compares to having a little cock between your lip and gum!!

I have been chewing Rooster for 7 years. Love it. Im in Canada and paying 8 bucks a tin. Our tins are only 15g. Half of yours in the US. If I can get in touch with someone to send me some from the US we can make a sweet deal. [email protected]

im typically a skoal mint man, strictly but when funds get low you gotta love the 1.02 cent rate that rooster boasts. to my surprise, this is good dip. i always thought that sticking with skoal was a good choice after I tried grizzly, kodiak, and longhorn, but Rooster is not like throwing wet dirt mixed with shit into your mouth. buy some rooster if your as poor as i am and just need some fucking dip.

By far the best dip out there! Rooster wintergreen is also top notch. Kodiak and Skoal are for women and children as far as I'm concerned!

Seems that everyione either absolutely loves it, or they hate it. I love and I've heard everything in the book from everyone who hates it. It's too sugary, it tastes bad yada-yada-yada. You know what though, its never dry and the flavor lastes. I also chew red-man which has no added sugar. Red-man is aways moist, and it lasts.

I purchased my first unit of Rooster smokeless tobacco this morning. Icy mint flavor. It is a premium priced dip made by the US Smokeless Tobacco Co. The packaging looks cool. I have my first pinch of it in my mouth right now. I must confess that I think it is excellent. Now, my usual brands are Kodiak premium wintergreen and Skoal spearmint. What I can say about Rooster for is that the icy mint flavor BEATS Skoal's mint AND Grizzly's mint for sure. I can also state that it is not as strong as Kodiak but it is decent. I won't be switching from my normal brands but I think I will pick up a little bit more Rooster later, because I did enjoy it. This product comes recommended by me and, in my humble opinion, a great dip that you should try at least once.

rooster has a bad ass cover with a bad ass looking bird on it, and the taste packs a punch, but it doesn't exactly taste like tobacco. it tastes like ass mixed with candy. this dip is a good alternative to aiplane glue for the younger kids who just need to get high, but adults should stick with cope or kodiak. rooster just can't compete. that cooling feeling is probably chemicals working, i'd stay away. but if they don't have any cope or kodiak at the store and just had rooster, i guess i'd dip into this once in awhile.

i picked up two cans of rooster a few days ago i got a can of icy mint and a can of bold wintergreen. I must say that rooster is probably the most moist dip i have ever gotten i mean when u open that can u can just see how freakin moist it is. It doesnt have a bad flavor but when i wanted to quit dippin i tried smokey mountain dip witch is made from corn silk and i think that rooster tastes very close to smokey mountain but maybe its just me. so over all rooster isnt bad and i like the strong cooling feeling that the mint gives u.

My dad gets this kind of snuff considering he only pays 12.00$ per log at AAFES (military Store) and beleive it or nt this stuff tastes pretty good. When i go to mah dads house and aint got no dip on me, i usually get some of this stuff from dad.

Wayy under rated in my book. Icy mint is yummy, the buzz is pretty good as well. People just think that a rooster is too kiddy-ish so they stay away. Comes in bigger cans than other dip as well. Try it.

Tried this just the other day, just to see if its as bad as people say, well its way too sweet, the flavor dosen't last, it lacks the punch of skoal straight, and the numbness spreading across the jawbone of cope fine-cut (my two staple brands), but these would all be forgivable if it weren's so damn hard to find fresh, in Canada at least, the one i got was nearly a year old, so what you basically have is saccharine, short lived, character-free crap thats nearly impossible to find fresh, I was generous giving it a 2.

Rooster is by far the best blend of dip. Not only does it taste good, but it also feels good in your lip. I don't understand why so many people choose Skoal over Rooster. I have dipped Skoal on numerous occassions just because nobody has a variety of dip in Chicago. I didn't like dipping Skoal then, and I will refuse to dip it today. Someone please explain to me why Skoal is considered better than Rooster.

Underrated, this is definitely made to have an aim on kids, don't know a grown up who would buy this, terrible taste, made by manufacteres of Cope and the rest od the ust brands, taste the same but with more sugar.

Rooster is far underrated. i bought a tin of wintergreen everything and rooster was one of them. it definelty had the wintergreen flavor, which was strong. i think i had grizzly, skoal, and hawken. i kept going back to rooster every morning only because the skoal wasn't fresh and the grizzly was too salty. this was just right at the time. if you have nothing else to dip, you gotta try rooster at least once

Rooster was a stepping stone from crappy stuff to the good stuff. It treated me well when it was my brand. There are others I'd rather have. The Icy Mint was the bomb. It was a real kick in the ass when you put it in.

rooster is not strong at all i dont kno how someone could throw up from it? im 14 and i had a dip of rooster from one of my friends dad and i usually chew and i dont get a buzz from chew and this thing didnt give me a buzz at all. skoal wintergreen is stronger than this crap.
