Numbah's on to something. Are we really in a Moral decline? Crime is the lowest it's been in 40 years, Murder and rape have declined, Teen sex is down and so is Illegal drug use. I think if anything, the world is getting better.

I don't really think that moral decline is what people make it out to be. There isn't a real hard and fast moral standard for me that a particular lifestyle is moral and another is not... for me, it is more about the difference between kind and unkind. People just ain't nice and they don't feel bad about it these days. What's worse, they feel justified and even empowered by being callous, heartless people that put themselves before every other consideration. To me kindness is what is moral and from the looks of things, we could use a damn lesson in it.

Ehhh, I don't know; I sometimes think that if it were possible to graph behavior throughout the history of mankind it wouldn't be a sharp line beginning at a high point and plummeting straight down. It would be more of an up and down, all over the board zig zag. Sure, things may seem really stink-o today but think of the middle ages, barbarians, the Salem witch hunts, burning at the stake, the Spanish Inquisition, Christians being served up like Fancy Feast to big kitty cats, and tons of other good times. If this were all visually represented based on perceptions of morality, I'm sure it would generate thousands of charts. Even then, the clergy, historians, philosophers and psychologists would be duking it out for the right to choose which was most accurate. I think it boils down to this; we are all capable of declining morally so keep your own nose clean and let everyone else do the same.

i cannot believe the promiscuity of teen girls today. they seem to have no problems with sex. they are doing things that i never had even known about until i got way older. its sad cu neither they or the teen boys that they are doing it with have the maturity to make this kind of choice and it adds nothing positive to their lives. the only thing i see that is a positive thing is that im seeing less and less teen pregnancies but more and more girls are pretending to be pregnent and then just pretend to have a miscarriage after a few months . the boys they are lying to dont know any better

This is not new news to anyone I'm sure. It has to be obvious to anyone that there is a steady decline in morals and has been since creation. What seemed to be so morally bad in the 1950's is now commonplace in the media as well as in plain view on the streets. The shock value of most taboo things of the past has disappeared. We need to change before we are totally unchangeable.

This would have to be the worst problem affecting our world - worse then famine. No morality is the cause of terrorism, wars, violence, abuse, STD's through pre-marital and homosexual sexual acts, poverty (because of government and other countries' greed), death etc. Everything bad in a person's life can be traced to no morality on either the people who made their life bad, or themselves. If there was morality and people obey the commands of God and came to Jesus, there would be no suffering, no wars or terrorism, no hatred, no violence or abuse or unsafe sexual practices, disease would be drastically reduced. In fact, this world would be a wonderful place to live in. Because God will bless the land by making it prosper (which means no famines, disease, poverty) if the people of the land would turn to Him.
