 | mrmtdoherty (0) 04/18/2008 | i work and live in Tanzania and have used nissans, vauxhalls, and other four by fours but the new hilux 2.5 turbo diesel has for one year done over 100,000 kilometers and never let me down. it is fantastic and for all you drivers out there at least two thirds of it has been serious off roads and a rainy season.for pics and details mail me, you will be shocked at what it can do..

 | yuma4wheelers (0) 02/08/2008 | The 1979-85 are top notch 4X4's. I have a 1984 and I take it where Jeeps go with no problems. Infact, I have had to pull a few Jeeps (and other rigs) out of sticky situations. I've owned my Toyota X-Cab for 3 years. All that failed was the timing chain guides.
You can check out my rig at yuma4wheelers.com I'm Red Leader.

 | tono86 (0) 10/24/2005 | These little pickups can take some abuse. But the stock toyota engines are very underpowered. Don't get me wrong these engines will give you years of trouble free 4 wheeling. They are very light trucks and will glide over the rough terrain like nothing.

 | Mad Hatter (37) 04/26/2005 | One of the best type of truck out there. Power, modification option, very dependable, and affordable. If a Jeep or SUV isn't what you want, this is the way to go.
