Good lawyer. Great at returning phone calls. Not too great at promising anything. Did fine job for my trial. Wish never had to go that far. Seems like everyone against us constantly.

Tony Dalayanis is an excellent lawyer. He works very hard for his clients, for those who he knows were wrongly treated in some way or another. I would highly recommend him because he will fight for you nonstop and exhaust every possible option to help you win your case. He never tried to mislead us - he was completely up front throughout the entire process. If the need ever arises again, we will definitely consult him first.

At first was afraid to speak with a lawyer. After speaking with Tony, he made it seem clear as to what his gameplan was. Had an end goal from the begining. would have liked to see him in action but my case worked out. thanks again tony. csp.

I'm going to start out by saying that all the other attorneys aren't mound to Tony. I called him at the last minute of my hearing & he was prepared, ready & waiting to deal with what came about. In the long run he was always their for my calls if not he replied within a good amount of time to deal with the siuation I was going through. He is prompt in getting back with you & the court you are attending. I would recommend him to anyone because he looks over every detailed imagine & black & white print that comes across his desk. I will say that he knows his stuff & is all about the client. I want to say thank you Tony for doing your best for having everthing dismissed in my case. I wouldn't want any other attorney.

After going through several lazy attorneys and donating to them the large sum of 26k. I realized I may have to give up and call it a day.. Then while researching online, I came across this brilliant man. He is an extremely articulate very eloquent, well researched individual. I will never be more impressed by an attorney. What three other lawyers could not accomplish because of fear. Mr. Dalayanis accomplished in one fifteen minute hearing. I am absolutely astounded and amazed. I have to completely disagree with several posts, read on this.. Tony is one of the most prepared individuals I have ever met. Every phone call immediately returned with exceptional service to boot. A rare quality in attorneys. If you need a pit bull and want to get things accomplished this is your man. Thank you Mr. Dalayanis for getting the job done.

THANKS!!!!! :) :) :) :) FYI - he filed under Ohio Rev. Code 1319.12(B)

Good attorney. Don't expect the phone calls unless there is something wrong. Everyone knew him. Did a great job.

This was my first (and I hope the last) time through the courts. I retained Tony through the recommendation of court staff. I did not know him from adam or eve. But, as I sit here now, I thank God everyday that I met him. He does not hold your hand or cuddle you, but gets the job done. If you want someone that will tell you what you want to hear, Tony is not the guy. if you want someone to tell you like it is, Tony is the guy. Nobody wants to be in Court, but if you do end up in Court, he's a good weapon on your side! Thanks Mr. T.

Took the time to meet with me and did not charge me anything for almost two hour meeting. Then drove and met me for over three hours and went over my case with me. Charged me a total of only $250.00!!! Did not charge me more than he said he would. Charged me less! Never asked for another dime. Knows what he is saying and would be smart for anyone to take his legal opinions very seriously!!!

I was also a nurse that Tony helped out. But, we could not do diversion because of a number of reasons. He never lost his cool and found a common ground for us and the prosecutor's office. Thank you Tony.
thankfulnurse 12/01/2010
Im a nurse that was caught in a position I never thought I would be in. My family has lawyers in it. When I had to find a lawyer, Tony's name kept coming up. I did retain him and can say that he walked me through this difficult part of my life. He knew what he was doing and he knew who to talk to help me through this mess. As of now, I am in a diversion program (nurses his research revealed are not excluded from diversion programs per the ohio supreme court and he was right). I am out and trying to rebuild my life based upon this second chance. Thank you! J.R.T.

I got attorney through referral service also. He stepped in at last minute after other attorneys handled the case. He knew what he was talking about and got the otherside to dismiss the case since they failed to realize that they had passed the time to sue. Amazing that no-one else saw this but was listed under the code section of the O.R.C. Great lawyer. May not cuddle you like you like, but we felt very confortable that he was our lawyer. Explained everything in such a way that was not legal talk. The Judge knew him and all of their staff the minute he walked in there. If my family ever has to use him again, and I sure hope we dont, we will! Thank you. R.G.

I found Mr. Dalayanis through pre-paid legal. I have had pre-paid legal for many years and never thought I would actually have to use it, but I did. I was injured in an automobile accident over three years ago, and have been in pain ever since. Mr. Dalayanis was sympathetic to my plight and agreed to take our case, even though it would be a tricky one. We first sought after legal counsel but unfortunately ended up filing and headed towards court. Mr. Dalayanis was and is extremely knowledgeable, he presents himself in a professional manner and is well versed in the art of communication. He was organized and efficient. Yes, there were times that my calls or emails were not answered as quickly as I would have liked them to be, but I knew this was not out of neglect for my case. I knew that he was giving the appropriate priorities (cases) his undivided attention, which is what I would want when my time came. And my time did come. Mr. Dalayanis gave us his completely undivided attention, his best efforts, and his best mediation skills, the outcome was a complete success! The opposing lawyers as well as the mediator of our case all commented on the exceptional talent I had found with having Mr. Dalayanis represent my case. I would give Mr. Dalayanis my highest recommendation, and this is not just because we reached an appropriate settlement. I can say with the utmost confidence that if we had not settled Mr. Dalayanis would have continued to fight on my behalf. He is a wise lawyer and those who listen to his advice and take advantage of all of his experience will find themselves pleased in his abilities. I want to publicly thank Mr. Dalayanis for his efforts, his care, and his kindness. Thank you Tony!

Great lawyer. Bulldog on my case.

In the most recent post I may have won and had the case dismissed against him (even though he may have had prior felony conviction when he came into my office) and then custody action then proceeded with more time. The latest post...well, ??!! I helped you both...and wish you both luck in life. But, your cases were not harmed and judges let me withdraw in both matters and no appeal was taken by either party. As a lawyer I will protect my clients rights, but as potential clients, you must also respect that we are also here because we are working. No person expects someone to do otherwise. Very truly yours,Tony Dalayanis

Please ready the post by "thissiteonly" because I too had a similar experience also through prepaid legal. To put it plainly Mr. Dalayanis screwed me. I paid him upfront and he did not keep his end of the deal. He then had the nerve to ask for more money. He never returned my phones calls, and the communcation is very poor. It's cool though, because I am now handling my custody case on my own, and I'm doing well. I would be very cautious when using Tony as your attorney!!!

Amazing lawyer! Does what he promisses. Infact has done more than promissed and didn't charge extra. Did not charge my family for every phone call. DId not charge my family for all the paperwork or copies. He takes care of my family. All the judges that ran into him liked him and listened to what he had to say. He did not lie to try to win, but presented the case in such a way that I was glad he was my lawyer and not the other person's. I would take the time and watch him argue before Ohio Supreme Court.www.OhioTrialLaw.comPer Ohio Trial Law . comRecent cases of Interest per Court Docket (not indicative of any result or promise of representation---each case’s facts/circumstances control):Tucker, et al. v. WOW!!!!www.OhioTrialLaw.comSometimes people are stuck in a bind and need help. Sometimes people are stuck in a bind and dont want to take the written opinions of counsel to heart. That why he puts it in writing and has all the back up in his file. If you want to question if he warned you about potential outcomes or appeals, then make the letters public, otherwise blog postings are not going to change the facts and circumstances. You want to see this guy argue...check him out in front of the OHIO SUPREME COURT wherein he successfully invalidated a retroactive DNA requirment that is now cited by Courts throughout in combatting retroactive laws that attempt to take away peoples rights. But, ultimately, he, like every other person working on this earth..is a business that must charge to survive. So, he works for food, like the rest of the world. But, unlike the rest of the world...this guy is good...he doesn't miss a beat... LOOK AT HIM BEFORE OHIO's SUPREME COURT!!!! NOT NERVOUS AT ALL!!!check this guy out !!!!WOW!!!www.OhioTrialLaw.com

Be aware of positive ratings/comments on this site that may be not be genuine in an attempt to boost ratings. This attorney was supplied thru PrePaid Legal Services to provide representation in a lawsuit where a company had continued to bill a client for services, but had not complied with their contract and continually overcharged for services; as such, their bill was not paid; they then sued for collection plus interest. Dalayanis initially advised that the municipal court was likely to partially rule in their favor, but the satisfactory result could come in an appeals court. He charged upfront fixed fees for representation in both courts; then after being paid, refused to attend a court-ordered summary hearing in the lower court because he said he had not been paid to do such, but he actually did show up, only to ask the judge at that point to allow him to withdraw from the case. He then walked out of the commencement of the hearing with an inappropriate smart-ass remark to his client and left his client to defend himself without legal representation in front of the opposing attorney and judge! (He had never offered to bill his client for this representation if he felt he was not otherwise obligated to attend the hearing; yet his client had previously paid him immediately upfront for every dollar he had asked for prior to this, so therefore he had little reason to think that he would not be paid.) This attorney takes an approach to business that benefits him financially by being paid upfront and choosing where/when he wants to provide representation, possibly at the expense of his client, who by this approach has little control of the continuity of service or quality of representation; Dalayanis failed to completely research matters of importance to his client, and therefore did not argue case history properly, but he is a sharp-witted individual who puts on a flambouyant show in the courtroom that can work well as a quick get-in, get-out concept. However, in this approach, a judge who listens for substantive, supported argument, if finding little, may rule adversely. Attempted repeated communication to Dalayanis through his office or voicemail was poor; either inadequate or non-responsive; he does not communicate via email. Dalayanis lost the cases due to insufficient research and lack of follow-through with his client, probably resulting in ineffective argument. If you need an attorney for a quick hearing on a simple matter, this attorney may be fine, but if you need continued representation over the long term, where effective client communication, details and research are important, look elsewhere.
