I did a lot of research before I decided to become a patient of Dr. McQuady's. Now I know why so many doctors and patients speak so highly of him. I couldn't be happier with the care I have received.

I have been a patient of Dr. McQuady and the Pelvic Pain Center for about a year. He and his staff are incredibly kind and caring. For the first time in years -- and after previously seeing several doctors and not being helped -- I finally am able to have sex without pain. THANK YOU!!

Dr. McQuady and his staff are absolutely amazing!! After seeing several doctors for extremely painful periods and more frequent trips to the bathroom than I'd like, I am so thankful that I finally found a kind and excellent doctor who really listened and helped me. It made me feel good to know that he's a nationally known expert (and surgeon) and could offer me the very latest treatments available anywhere. He suggested things that no other doctor even thought of (and didn't just put me on anti-depressants). Now I know why he's received the "Patient's Choice" award given to doctors every year who consistently receive the highest patient ratings. He's the best!!!

Delighted to give a 5-star review. Very, very highly recommended. If you suffer from pain from endometriosis, interstitial cystitis, vulvodynia, or painful periods, this is THE place to go for excellent, caring evaluation and treatment that WORKS. Dr. McQuady is that rare combination of a fantastic surgeon, great diagnostician, and kind human being. If only we could clone him:)

I see that I'm not the only one who disagrees with the previous 2 reviews and, though I've never written an online review, I simply feel I have to speak up. I went to see Dr. McQuady at the Pelvic Pain Center on the recommendation of my physician at the Mayo Clinic. Dr. McQuady is an internationally known expert on endometriosis, interstitial cystitis, and a variety of other conditions that cause chronic "female" pain. I had been to too many doctors to count and was at the end of my rope (as was my husband). I cannot tell you how wonderful Dr. McQuady and his staff are and how grateful I am to them for giving me my life back. After years of experiencing pain with sex and a litany of other related problems, I am thrilled today to be pain-free -- and without the use of narcotics or other pain-masking agents. I talked with a number of other women who were in the waiting room (many who had travelled hundreds of miles) and they all were singing his praises...I have several friends who... Read more

After three major abdominal surgeries I was desperate for help with pain and recurring ovarian remnants. I asked about trigger point injections and other non-narcotic therapies and was promised the moon. I got a whole lot of expensive tests and my out patient maximums maxed out. I also got a whole lot of ultram and baclofen--which left me depressed and with heart palpitations (that stopped as soon after the baclofen was discontinued). Like the other reviewer I was shocked and a little surprised at the billing (surgery for non-surgical procedures, physical therapy by non physical therapists). I was charged $100.00 for missing an appointment since I did not call to cancel when my father died (gosh, I didn't think about it). I was charged $100.00 dollars for missing an appointment I didn't even set up because I knew my insurance would not pay for "body work" by a nurse rather than physical therapist (unless it was going to be billed as something else of course). When I questioned Dr... Read more

First, the staff was rude and although a few girls were sweet, overall they act like they have something better to do while you sit at the window for 3 minutes. The nurse practitioner didn't listen to a word I said. I am young, yes. But I am in my early 20's with a toddler and have had worsening periods since the age of 11. I have had 8 Gynos & I was diagnosed with PCOS at 16. I thought this place would tell my what type of PCOS I had, how to help it-homeopathically & medicinally, just like their site says. I told them how Ibuprofen just didn't cut it and my long heavy and painful periods were worse than labor because they lasted for days and I was absolutely bedridden. So what did the doc do? Prescribe me more Ibuprofen. I took over 50 in one month, the month I concieved our second child. One we planned on having but had no luck for a year and my period that month was torture. Why do I write such a long review? Because I sincerely hope it changes someone's mind. Someone who lik... Read more
