In all fairness I've never been to this church but my rating is for women preachers. If this church has a woman Pastor whose accused of being critical in other comments she must know there are others critical of women Pastors. There are Christians who believe that the Old and New Testament requires women to keep quiet in the church and never rule over men. I think that text is misinterpreted because women had a role in Jesus ministry when he was on earth. This was revolutionary and unheard of at the time. There is a verse in Galatians chapter three verse twenty eight that said: "There is no Jew or Greek, slave or free, male or female; for you are all one in Christ Jesus."

Choosing a Pastor and church is a matter of prayerful personal preference. Like ones style of church music, some church goers like traditional choirs, other like contemporary Christian bands. It's ones personal choice and we have freedom of religion if you live in the USA.

Where I draw the line in the sand is when there's obvious spiritual abuse and abuse of authority, like scaring the poor by quoting the Malachi chapter three verse nine verse. That curse was said to another nation, under a different covenant with God, in the Old Testament. Christians are in a New Covenant and New Testament. When the majority of Christians figure out that Jesus took the curse for them according to Galatians chapter three verse thirteen and Colossians chapter two verse fourteen and blotted out the handwriting of ordinances against them (Old Covenant laws and curses) nailing it to his cross for those in him, they will stop buying into the fear mongering and manipulative tactics of tithe advocates. Pastors who do this should not try to declare curses over Christians that Christ redeemed from the curse for money when they are poor and barely scraping by. This is Spiritual abuse of the worst kind. Not saying this lady preacher does this but just saying there's enough of this going around! I remember when I was a struggling college kid there were times when I went without food and money for my books. The church should help, not hurt the poor and scare them half to death with a curse that God never meant for those Jesus has redeemed from the curse. Who wants to go to church to be beat down and cursed with a misquoted curse over their lives. This is a misrepresentation of the loving nature of Jesus who said paid in full, not I'm worst than the Repo Man ready to devour all your stuff if you don't give me ten percent on every dollar. Back to women Pastors, that's not my thing but I have no problems with those that prefer going to a church with a female Pastor when there is a husband wife team.

The nerve of you to talk about MY pastor like that! You are going to Rot in hell. I have known her my whole life and NEVER has she done or said anything wrong to anybody! She preaches thr TRUTH and if you can't handle it, your going to HELL! You had only been going to my church for SIX months, you dont know NOTHING about my church, The envelopes are VERY expensive! You are not very smart at all, cause not ONCE has Mrs. Rose's rings EVER blinded me when she is preaching. YOU are a BOLD FACE LIAR!!!! And this is a free country, she can ride in a limo ANYTIME she wants. Why is it ANY of your business! And it is NOT the churches fault for you being short on your rent, you wouldnt have been short on your rent if you wern't whoring around with your nasty boyfriend! And yes She does live in a BEAUTIFUL home and she deserves it, She is a preacher who gives her life for Men, Women, Boys, And Girls, but there are stupid people like you out there who take advantage of her and get jelous! I want you to know, There is NOTHING wrong with her. EVERYTHING is wrong with you!!!! And God is going to judge you for saying STUPID stuff about her to the public like you are. YOU ARE GOING TO HELL! and you are going to be sitting right by your friend Ted Haggard! Have fun!!!

I attended this "church" for 6mos. At first I felt that God was really talking through Pastor Rose Banks. I attended service Sunday morning and evening and also Friday evening as I was working on becoming a "member". Pastor Rose on many occasions has stated during her sermons that her "members" are without sin. She has put down many local and national pastors/reverends. Such as the late Rev. Proby of St. John's Baptist Church and Joel Osteen to name a few. She even says that Rev. Proby is burning in hell and that all his followers will also. Ted Haggart is a common name in the "church" as she is always ridiculing homosexuals during every sermon. I am not homosexual but I believe that you should help a person not point and laugh. One occasion when I was going she embarrassed a homosexual man in front of the congregation. When he decided he'd had enough and got up to leave everyone laughed at him. That's when I started noticing something just wasn't right there. In order to speak with Pastor Rose you must go through Daisy her best friend and if Daisy doesn't think it is worth the Pastor's time you better believe you won't speak to her. I made sure to give my tithes and offering every service. I noticed that the envelopes are different colors. This is so "members" can see who is giving and how isn't. Then to top it off you have to get an envelope from Daisy each time so she can keep track. She claims its cause there to expensive. Pastor Rose walks around in clothes and shoes I can't even pronounce. She lives in a very upscale neighborhood in a very large beautiful home. She rode to Denver for her birthday in a stretch limo with select "members". Her diamonds are so huge and flashy they blind you while she is preaching. I needed help paying my rent one month and Daisy told me that Pastor wasn't going to help me because I live with my boyfriend. I might be wrong to say this but maybe if I hadn't giving all those offerings I wouldn't have been short on my rent. Now that I decided to go back to my old church none of the members will talk to me. I recently called to get a statement showing tithes and offerings and was told by Daisy that they don't give those out and I should of used check or money order.
