A real symbol of the "I'm more important than anyone else." attitude.

 | DumbBlondeCowgirl (23) 03/15/2006 | Thats one of the rudest things to do. I have a big problem with people who do this. If the parking space was meant for them it would say " All rude morons park here." If you're in a handicapped spot, you better have the sticker on your car.

 | Vudija (92) 03/15/2006 | My town is small enough that the police actually have time to come for calls like these. Fair warning, come to Naples and do this: I'll call the cops. My aunt is disabled and nothing annoys me more than seeing someone take a handi-capped spot and then practicly skip or jog/run to the store, taking up a valuable spot for someone who actually needs to be that close to the entrance door.

 | Gentle Jude (23) 05/04/2005 | This is selfish and inconveniences people who have a real disability. It is especially annoying when someone parks in a taxi rank. I may be doing my shopping and waiting for a taxi. Then some idiot parks in the taxi ranks to drop someone off or to deliver an item. This blocks the view of passing taxi's so they can't see me and think that there is already a taxi there. So they drive past. I miss my taxi and have to wait longer.

 | numbah16tdhaha (147) 04/12/2005 | I like to park in handicapped spaces and see handicapped people make handicapped faces. UPDATE: I see that the words of Dennis Leary are lost on the majority of people, but this is a problem, and I'd like to beat on fools that misuse these spaces because my Grandmother has a little blue placard and if she has to walk across a parking lot, someone is getting messed up.

 | CastleBee (81) 04/12/2005 | I don't park in these spots. However, I have had the misfortune of breaking my ankles and had the opportunity to use them. Even thouh I appreciated the fact that they were there for me, I still think it can sometimes be a case of taking something good and going too far with it. So many times there are way too many spots dedicated to this that many go empty most of the time. And I've known of cases where able bodied people cheat and use the handicap tags of relatives and friends. Also, it would also seem that they are issued for everything from heart trouble to broken fingernails. But, regardless, it is pretty cheesy for people to park in these when they know good and well they aren't entitled to do it.
