02/26/2007 | Ugh, you don't know how many times I've stepped on or brushed my hands across used gum. Disgusting! I can't believe it's so easy for people to completely disregard other people like that.

05/06/2005 | Yuck. I haven't SEEN many people in the act of doing it, but with as gross as the undersides of school desks are, you know it's being done. And, if you're unfortunate enough to step on a freshly-spit one, leaves and stuff end up sticking to the bottom of your shoe, and even if you manage to scrape off most of it, you get that annoying little *snick!* noise every time you lift your foot to walk. Very irritating.

04/18/2005 | It is not only dirty, but it inconveniences a lot of people. For a start, it actually ruins the look of a place or foot path. The council have spent a lot of time trying to clean them off because they are so hard to clean. Plus once you clean them off the path, they leave a stain. When you accidently touch some gum that someone has left under a chair, then that person has to wash their hands which is inconvenient, otherwise take a chance. They could end up getting sick. Worst of all, if it gets stuck to your shoes, is very hard to clean off and can ruin the soles of your shoes. It is a very slobbish and inconsiderate thing to do.

04/11/2005 | The only reason people do this is that they are lazy. A nasty habit, if someone is caught doing this they should have to chew another piece of gum left by someone else.
