Reservations are accepted for the dining room but I've never found them necessary as it seems most locals have not yet discovered this establishment. It's not high-concept or cutting edge, but the food is excellent, the service is friendly and attentive to detail, and the vibe is unhurried and relaxing. The crab-cakes with a fresh hollandaise and sprinkled lightly with mint-parsley are among the best I've ever tasted. (Also, the jar of pickled cucumbers and red-peppers on each table is not merely decorative...try one if you appreciate a good pickle!) Also, for dessert, the key-lime pie is simple, tart and amazing.
