Magellan Academies Child Development Centers

TERRIBLE place to put your child...they obviously haven't changed how they do business. They sat my one year old in one of those tables with the holes with chairs in them and left him there for over an hour while the other kids were still sleeping. The owner is out for ONLY money and didn't seem to think there was an issue with leaving a child squirming in a chair with no one attending to his needs. He was there a couple of days and they wouldn't refund my deposit or tuition. GREEDY!

The corporation itself is terrible! And the director Sam is is even worse! They don't care about your child but only want your money. They allow your child to go hungry if they don't like the lunch served, your child will come home filthy. When picking up my child early I have found her completely filthy, (diapers not changed, noses not wiped, face and hands black) they clean them up before you get there. My child never had a diaper rash before attending Magellan, she has had some terrible ones that began after being dropped off. The children are seen doing nothing most of the day, just walking aimlessly around the class (there are video cameras you can watch from any computer). The classrooms are bare and there is no nice artwork coming home. Do not go there!

Terrible daycare, understaffed and Very Corporate feeling. Had my child there for 3 days before I realized how bad it was. Got her out the very next day and they kept all of my $625 of deposits and fees for their trouble. 3 days of childcare for $625 and they could have cared less about all of my concerns with their daycare. If you like your child to be neglected, fed COLD formula to the point that they get sick, and have diapers 2 sizes too small put on her even when you provide a box of the right diapers then this is the place for you.

Excellent school. Great academics. High recommended.
