Probably the best of the instant coffees. Good for when you don't have your burr grinder with you on your camping trip.

Boycott Taster's Choice. Thier NEW packaging only results in ripping off the consumer, that's you, of your hard earned money. I use to buy their 12 ounce jars of 100% columbian for $7.79, a good buy, now i get the fantastic deal of getting 20 single-serving packets for $4.99 which gives me a total of 20 X 0.07 ounces per packet. If you compare 12 ounces to a total of 1.4 ounces i'm sure you can see how much your saving! You could get 171 cups of coffee from the 12 ounces before compared to the 20 servings you now get in their single packs. Wait here's the good part, now you get the honor of paying over $42 for what you got for $7.79 before, what a deal huh! So they've improved the packaging for us huh, yeah right! Send these thieves a message, boycott them...

Call their toll free number 1-800-505-2876 & ask them to bring the 6.1 Hazelnut canisters back. The new singles packs are not only too small to make a good cup of coffee but they are not environmentally friendly. Too much packaging for such a small amount of product. Not to mention that they are difficult to open. They will listen to our feedback if enough people call. 1-800-505-2876 November 16, 2009 5 stars Amy

I suppose for those who like instant coffee this is okay. I have never been a fan of instant coffee. only if i were very desperate for a cup of coffee and then I would go for the hot tea instead.

Not the best tasting of coffees, but if you just want that caffeine kick and you dont have access to a coffee maker it does the job,

I'm kind of surprised coffee like this still sells well with the proliferation of many coffee shops. Tasters Choice is certainly one of the most commoditized forms of coffee.

I have been using Taster's Choice for proably close to 20 years. I love it because it taste, to me, like brewed coffee. I agree that I hate the present container. Sometimes it stays shut and other times not.

The last container of Tasters Choice I bought was awful. I threw it away. It tasted nasty and had oil swimming on top of the cup. T made several cups and it was all the same. I really would like to find out what type of oil. Anyone else had this experience?

My comments are not negative or positive. My question is "Where can I purchase Taster's Choice Hazelnut Roast"? My zip code is 38068 and until recently I could purchase this item at a Kroger Store in Oakland, TN. Wal-mart has never stocked this item. At this point in time I cannot find Hazelnut Roast at the Kroger Store. Even though it is more expensive than regular Taster's Choice, I am willing to pay the price because I do like the taste so much better.

The change from the coffee with the gum acacia to the acesulfame potassium makes this coffee now taste terrible! Change it back, please, or I will be forced to drink something else. Terrible!!

Tasters choice flavor change to their hazelnut instant coffee is HORRIBLE. I have been drinking this coffee since it came out and now am being forced to find something I can drink.. wouldn't serve this new stuff to my dog.

As of Nov/04 Taster's Choice did to its Hazelnut Roast what Coca-Cola tried(!)to do to its original flavor 20 years ago. T.C. has removed gum acacia from the ingredients list and(get this!) added caramel color and acesulfame potassium for a great new taste. Don't buy it, folks! 'Tis a very bad-tasting cup of coffee.

I have been drinking Tasters Choice Decaf for many years, you know( the green jar)with a screw on lid.Well the last time I went to buy a jar I couldn't find it. I had to ask what happened to it. Well now I have this cute (red) container that doesn't stay closed. My coffee doesn't stay fresh in the container. I guess I will have to find another brand. Sorry wrong container, cute put not practible.
