If Jimmy cracks corn and no one cares, why is there a song about him?

Linguistic anthropologists have determined that cracking corn is a late nineteenth century euphemism for flatulence, similar to cutting cheese. This may explain the general indifference to Jimmy's prowess. 

I often wondered about this.

The person who wrote the song cared.

Because it was written by some dude with too much time on his hands.

As it turns out, Jimmy is the only one who cared and actually wrote the song about himself. No one else cared what Jimmy cracked until he cracked wise.

I think he really does care. I think everyone wants to feel that their job is important. Just ask the Corn Crackers of America United, this is their Union. They are fighting hard to get corn crackers pay up to a level where songs are no longer needed.

(LOL . . .) I dunno. Maybe when Jimmy was cracking corn, he was going look at me! LOOK AT MEEEEE!, and being really obnoxious, so someone made a song about him. ::shrug::

Jed-I've never heard the whole song, so I really can't answer it. But if he says that he doesn't care, I'd have to aks him what drugs he was on when he made up the song.

Some fool must have cared.

The song doesn't state that no one cares. It only assures us that the singer doesn't care. I'd ask that guy.
