What the hell else would you call a gangly six foot ten inch pitcher with a scary fastball and a host of nasty breaking balls. Add to that an ugliness so bad he looks like a guy trying out for the lead role in a '80s slasher flick, and you have a hell of a package.

"The Big Unit" is a fitting nickname for someone so ugly and frightening, that it transcends normal gender-description. If I had a dog this ugly, I'd either shoot it, or teach it how to pitch.

Great pitcher, even though the Jays always owned him, but an awful nickname - too much innuendo, the sniggering six-year old kind.
