This was another brand my Dad smoked in the 60s & 70s.They aren't bad for a cheap cigar.Of course,a true afficionado wouldn't be caught dead smoking one,but lots of folks can't afford the best.

These cheap sticks are good if you hot age them in a humidor. there's this instructable called "5 dollar cigar humidor" on instructables, i did the thing, made the humidor, and aged the cigar (a plain perfecto shape) for a month, they were vastly improved. do not get the flavored kind, as it is just sprayed onto the wrapper, and only hits the tongue, you literaly just taste the wrapper for flavoring, not the filler tobacco. at 5 for 4 bucks you can't beat the price. they are really nice smokes if you make them be good. remember to air out the humidor, cause gosh these things let of amonia and chemicals. after a month in the humidor, they were very smooth, and tasted earthy, and mild. out of the box they are crap, dry, bitter, and sweet and low tainted.

Well......well,well,well. I was expecting much much more from swisher sweets grape flavor. I'm an ocassional smoker of Black and Mild, usually wine and just tried cream a few days ago. And compare to blacks these are just horrid. I lit one up actually just about 10 minutes ago because I just felt like exploring a bit more in the cigarillo world and before the smoke they smell fantastic but once I lit it and i lit it with a match it was completely disgusting. The draw is poor, for newer smokers these could probably collapse a lung and it flavor seemed like getting a direct line to an aftertaste of some shitsicle. I wouldn't recommend therse at all. Maybe it's just me but I'm going to stick with blacks, actually i'm going to have to buy and go a black wood tip wine just to get this flavor out. Just nasty. Just a side note, cigarillos usually for most are for the flavor, if this was swisher flavor was made for a cigar it might be more tolerable since cigar are more for the raw flavor of t... Read more

Somewhere, there may be worse cheap cigars, but I can't imagine what they taste like. If you smoke these, and like them, you deserve all the cancer you can handle.

The only swisher sweet i would recommend are the wood tips. they are smooth and good for lunch breaks or short things like that through out the day. they do get short fast and once they get 2/3 down they get pretty bad and lose taste, especially if you use a lighter. good for a quick, relaxing smoke. especially if your cheap... like i am :-)

Ok everybody has there own opinion, there is atleast 15 different things to base cigars on, they can range from aroma, nuttiness, sweetness to blandness. Most people get the flavored tubes like grape, that ruins the whole expierience! buy real cigars to get the real flavor because i would agree if i only tried flavors, they do get harsher with shorter lengths and loser flavor, a good perfecto or the new King size blunts last a good 40-60 minutes and have a great consistant taste. also light with a cedar stick or zippo or wood match, normal butane lighters will leave a bad taste in the cigar which can ruin the experience with your more expensive cigars.

Desperate times call for desperate measures. This liquor store near where I work (Red Wagon Shoppe at Maple & Livernois for you metro Detroiter’s) installed a really nice humidor, so now I get direct access to the better brands. Don’t think I’ll ever smoke another Swisher, ever.

complete and utter disapointment. i smoked black and milds and the smoke is sweet, favorfull, rich and they buzz the fuck outa you! i got the normal swishers. and unburned they smellled fantastic! and the reidue on the tip on the cigar is sweet. but it al goes wrong from here. the smoke is a cross between shity cigar and cigarett, very bland and NOT SWEET!! (wtf do they call em swisher sweets for?) and the buzz was non existant. perfect waste of 5 bucks. SMOKE BLACK AND MILDS!!!!!!

Ah i remember Swisher Sweet cigars, I was 16 and my friend and I stole a couple of those "5 in a pack for $4" that would sit right in the middle of the gas station with no cameras around it - guess they weren't good enough to be behind the counter. I think they are decent and I like how the taste stays on your lips and tongue. They burn slow but not slow where you are the only one left outside at a party finishing up your cig/cigar. I really don't know why anybody would buy these unless they are a person who only smokes cigars and is really low on cash, even then I'd go for Phillies to be honest.

I want to start out by say that I am not a cigar know it all. I am a now and then smoker who finds a cigar relaxing. I started out on the Swisher Sweet Blunt XL in the tube in grape for $1 each and they were ok. I switched to the 5 pack blunt in grape and all 4 boxes of them were very bad. They had a harsh taste, not very fruity, and they were blocked or plugged. I am not sure if this is normal but it was enough to make me look to another brand. I have tried Phillies Blunts and so far have not had a bad cigar yet. My advice is to try Phillies and see what you think.

I have had a few, and wasn't impressed in the least bit - I am a cigar smoker but not a cigar snob. These cigars are just awful tasting paper wrapped crap. And whenever I have smoked these, there was a really disguisting brown sludge that always clogged the hole in the end you puff on. Swisher Sweets (along with Century Sam) seem to be the cigar preferred by old farmer hicks.

My favorite, I Love Swisher. I smoke the Perfectos and for the price ($3.00 for 5) you can't beat 'em. Awesome sweet mild flavor, not to harsh. Very Nice.

I do like Swisher Sweets, but they can be kind of harsh on your tongue. DO NOT INHALE THESE, I got bored and inhaled once, boy it did not go down well. If you smoke them right then they are a very pleasant smoke, just make sure you don't smoke them too fast or they will burn your tongue and the roof of your mouth, oh and again, don't be a retard like me and try inhaling one, it is not nice!

Swisher Sweets are a bit strong. For a Cigar just to smoke and relax. Black and Milds are the way to go. I like Swisher Sweets. Peach being my favorite but sometimes too strong for me. I inhaled one deep one time not meaning to, thought I was gonna die.

Very good tasting, smelling, and mild cigar. I love to share these with a few friends after school. They taste really good. The cigar leaves a sweet smell on your hands if you smoke the flavored type. I only smoke Grape flavored.

In my opinion, The Strawberry Swisher Sweets and Phillies, Cigars and Cigarillos alike, are the best, but i havn't tried the peach ones yet. And yeah, inhaling a cigar or pipe tobacco of any blend is retarded, puff em like ur supposed to, just get the taste and smell out of it. Thats what i do, and im not addicted to em, i go weeks w/out smokin anything.

Meh their filter tips are ok, but I'd stick to something less harsh, if you're into light cigars. However, if you like your smoke harsh, Swishers would be the shizz for you.

These cigars are very strong, even for a cheap brand. Smoking a full cigar will ensure you wont be smoking anything for the rest of the day, even if you smoke it like a cigar (smoking this like a cigarette will bring on a massive headache) Other than that, they are pretty good.

(The five stars is for the Wood Tipped Cigar)Swisher Sweet is actually a pretty tasteful tabacco, at least alot better than Philly. The only problem I have is the draw on the cigars are awful and they are rolled way to tight. they also dry out crazy fast. But the wood tip redeems this all.The wood tip makes for an amazing draw. Exceptional tabacco taste. I've tried really good cigars and all the cheap gas station brands and I must say the Wood tipped Cigars are the best of both worlds. they have a real nice smell and a really flavorful smoke like a strawberry White owl mixed with a Black and Mild. They taste expensive and yet very working class. They burn very slow and are wicked for yard work or fishing/ball games. Smell great too. They also stay very moist compared to the regular swisher sweets. This must be because of the so called "cancer paper" which is layered underneath the REAL tabacco leaf wrapper. Also definetly not for inhaling, just like a normal cigar.Trust me! these are re... Read more

I think that these are a good buy for the money. I only smoke once or twice a month and find cheap swishers to be pretty good. They don't compare with a good Monticristo or Romeo, but I think they are good little things. I recommend the peach Blunts, in the tube if you can get them. The originals suck. Grape suck. Peach ones are pretty awesome.

Swisher sweets... It's like a white owl with a different name. same exact taste and everything. Taste went away after like half the cigar... all I've had so far are swisher sweet, white owl, and black and mild. I need to try something higher quality.

The first cigar I ever smoked and at the time I thought it was heaven in a wrapper.  Turns out after tasting my way around the cigar market that these things aren't really worth the cardboard they're packaged in.  The initial light and first couple of puffs are really nice but too mild and after that they develope a nasty bitter taste.

Swisher Sweets are not first class, but they are a good cigar that deserves a place in your menu. I enjoy them fishing with my brothers or just kicking back. Other times a fine cohiba is required. Know what I mean?

I enjoy good cigars, but Im not one to trash something before I buy it. Many people warned me about Swishers but while at a friends house I was offered one, and I accepted. These are horrible. I dont see why you wouldnt just buy a $3 real cigar.

They are pretty good, the only thing about it is it's good to be careful with these things if your saving it for an ocassion. I've had one to two of these Swishers break in my pockets when I didnt even get the chance to strip the plastic yet. I never purchased a dry or cracked one and they are small and taste great when you first put your lips on them. They taste so sweet you'll end up getting cancer from trying to suck all the sweetness out of it, haha. They are easy to roll the herbal up and you can save half of what you have because it doesnt take a whole gram just to roll a fine Swisher, unlike Phillies.

You get what you pay for, most of the time. Most like the taste of swishers for their tips (its got a very distinct sweet taste) but I have found that some people who smoke these SUCK on the tip while taking a drag, witch is going to get rid of the nice, sweet, taste quicker. Take the time to enjoy them, and if you dont like the first few puffs, I wouldnt say it would be worth it to finish. They also leave a very, i would say, nice smell in the air, but some find it nasiuating. I love them, for a social smoke they are ideal. Not worth it if you are lighting a pack of these a day

These cigars are a disgrace. They are only suited to ten year olds smuggling them into church camp or 80 year olds who wear overalls and hickory shirts eight days a week. These cigars are sickenly sweet and leave your mouth with a plasticky taste that lasts for a couple of days, unless you gargle with carb cleaner. The flavor is reminiscent of your neighbor's burn barrel when he torches a load of disposable diapers and beer cans, mixed with molasses overtones. Spend a couple bucks more for Roi Tans, if you can get them.

The only part about a Swisher that is good is the sweetened wrapper. Just put some sugar in your mouth and save your money, and your lungs, and your breath. These things are noxious. The rumor that they are made from the sweepings off the tabacco factory floors is certainly not true, but you can't tell that from the shop floor taste.

I am a woman and enjoy these when my husband has a cigar. I have had several packages that were dry or broken. Not sure if I'll continue to waste my money on this brand.
