My husband bought a 32" LCD Samsung television there for his dad as a Christmas gift. We opened the box and the screen in the upper right hand corner had a very LARGE SPIDER CRACK in the screen. We live in Knoxville and my husband is in the Army Guard and has to drill in Nashville so that is why he even stopped in this cheap place. We drove all the way back to Nashville only to have the manager tell us that he did not believe us. He basically called us liars and said we had damaged the TV getting it out of the box. We didn't even have it out of the box because as soon as we opened the box we could see the screen was cracked!!!! I wonder how this place even stays in business. If we lived closer I would stand in their parking lot with a sign telling people not to shop there. My husband also paid an exta $60 for an extended warranty. We were so angry we left without demanding that $60 back but I am sure they would have found a way to weasel out of repayment of the warranty. We Wi... Read more

If it was a grade system I would grad it as an F!!!!!They have FAULTY computers and software. They give you false advertisement on there product's, so "BEWARE".......... If they give you a RMA# IF THEY GIVE YOU A RMA# They will NOT give you all yor money back. Consumer Depot will tell you that they will honor a full RETURN long as they see the product did not work. If they fill it is your fault th keep 20%. I got a Laptop for my 16yr. old daughter for christmas I opened the box just to see the condition it was in, but I never turned it on. Christmas morning my daughter opened her gifts and plugged in her laptop and with in 3 minutes it got hot as hell and turned off. So we did this for about 4 days same thing, every 3 minutes It get hot as hell and shut down. So I emailed the company and called a "LAWYER" and sent them litigation threat's. They honored me a full "REFUND" to my Visa. Well I paid 229.00 for the laptop and warranty and they ONLY gave me 179.00 back. FRAUD FRAUD FRAUD FA... Read more

These people are complete and utter idiots. When I ordered I didn't know of their horrible ways of business and was luck enough to cancel my order before it shipped; however, they wouldn't refund me! They expected me to go around them and through the bank, who needed the cancel transaction code to actually cancel the charges that they voided. It was absolutely ridiculous! We had to do a three way call with them, the bank, and us and then on top of that had to e-mail them frequently to get our money back. These people are complete morons.

I've been ripped off more than once at that place, 9 out of 10 items are junk, they dont do refunds only exchange for other junk. if it sounds to good to be true, it is! they will test it for you, but not in front of you! Try it for yourself and then wite a reveiw. I call it the "Katrina Store" cause they cant tell you where they get this stuff, even if its brand new there is a reason why sears or bestbuy didn't want it

AVOID THESE GUYS LIKE THE PLAGUE!! I ordered a G drive mini triple and was sent a G drive mini combo. Since I needed FW800---which comes with the triple---and the combo only has FW400, I cannot use the drive with my Mac OS10.5. In essence, they sent me an outdated model that should no longer be on the market. I've sent several e-mails to customer service, telling them politely that they sent the wrong item, and asking for a full refund. Each time they've come back saying sorry, this item is non-refundable, even though I didn't even open the box. Finally, they said "it appears you have received the proper item" and I would have to contact the manufacturer "for warranty and support." This despite the fact that on the packing slip it clearly states "USB FW400 & USB FW800". In the end I had to dispute the charge with VISA. In addition, they charged over $19 to ship this item via UPS ground (It was listed on Price Grabber as $14, which already seemed high). The item, including the shippi... Read more

If politeness was all that mattered I'd give them high marks - but their polite emails and phone reps stand in stark contrast to their actual customer service policies. I ordered an xbox elite on June 22nd, it arrived on June 25th (as anticipated) but that's where the "fun" began. They shipped the wrong power cord with it so I emailed and called them on the 26th to request that the correct cord be sent. They said it would be shipped, then I emailed again on the 29th and got a response saying that it had already shipped. I called again on July 2nd because the cord still hadn't arrived and came to find that not only had it not yet been shipped, but also that it was being shipped via regular mail (even though we'd paid for an expedited shipping upgrade on the original order). The cord finally arrived on July 6th but, after appearing to work (booting up, connecting to the internet) we discovered that game discs didn't work on it! So now it has to be shipped back (at my expense). I... Read more

NEVER AGAIN...READ AND SAVE YOURSELF GRIEF! Dell XPS computer was purchased as "refurbished". It came in non-factory, flimsy packaged and arrived DOA. The unit had cracks and scratches that were mostly cosmetic but much worse than the Dell Factory refubished units. I have concluded that the system was simply "used" and not refurbished. The system had a hardware problem with its media reader that could have been detected if the unit was tested prior to shipping. I know the unit was not tested because the batter operated wireless moused had leaking, dead AA batteries in it. The bottom line was they were not willing to replace the item and only offerred me the chance to return the item at my expense -- which was nearly $70 on a $629 item. It is not clear if the shipping to me (also $70) will be refunded when the item is received at their end. SO I COULD BE OUT $140 ON A $629 ITEM THAT WAS LIKELY NOT WORKING WHEN IT WAS SHIPPED. SHAME ON CONSUMER DEPOT!!

Absolutely a ripoff, a company run by human garbage. They sell stuff knowingly defective, only to claim a no refund, sold-as-is policy. No wonder the State Attorney General for Tennessee has an ongoing lawsuit against them. Avoid avoid avoid!

DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FORM CONSUMER DEPOT OR OVERSTOCK DEALS.COM!!! I ordered a wireless adapter for my xbox 360 for only $45.00, I thought it was a great deal at first, but I was soooo wrong. It took almost 1 and 1/2 for the item to reach my house in North Carolina from Their Tennessee warehouse. When my package finnally arrived, the adapter was broken. I tried to return my item, but the only way you can do that is if you get a RMA#, but you can only get an RMA# if you have an order number, the problem is, they never e-mailed me my order number. DO NOT ORDER ANYTHING FROM THIS SITE, YOU WILL GET RIPPED OFF!!!
