I've always liked Embassy Suites. While they can be a little expensive in some markets, their rooms are always clean and their staff is helpful and well-trained. I travel a lot for both business and leisure and I never hesitate to book a stay with Embassy Suites. I've never had a problem with a reservation which unfortunately is rare these days. On the very few occasions where something has gone wrong, they are very quick to react and correct any problem before it causes a major inconvenience. Just one of the many reasons they remain in my list of top five choices when I travel. I'll give them 4 stars bordering on five.

For business travel, dismal. For family travel, pretty good.

I don't usually stay here because I generally don't need a suite, but when I have it's been good and I have no complaints. I'm not sure if they all do but the one I stayed in offered free breakfast.

Nice chains to stay in for certain but you are going to pay for it. Depending on what you can afford and what you are looking for CI's are a great stay but you can get a quality stay for less in other chains.

Embassy Suites have clean rooms and good service, plus it's fairly affordable, especially when you're travelling with a family. You get a little more room to spread out with the suites, something good when you're with 2 or 3 kids. When I was a kid, me and my family would stay at these all the time and it was far more comfortable than staying at a normal hotel room.

Stayed at one in New Orleans, was nice but they put us in a seperate building from the main lobby, and the staff wasn't that interested in helping. The Homewood Suites in New Orleans is much nicer and still gives the free breakfast and happy hour each day (and the staff is great!) Plus they have an indoor pool..

Stayed at the Embassy Suites Phoenix Biltmore. Even by Embassy standards, the lobby is beautiful. Spacious rooms, free parking (not covered, unfortunately) and great complimentary breakfast. Next door to Biltmore Fashion square.

The ES on 17th Street in Ft. Lauderdale was AWESOME. The staff were all wonderful and cheerful, the rooms beautiful and spacious and the atrium, lobby and pool was beautiful. We particulary loved the 2 hour FREE happy hour which included any drink not just selected beer or wine and the full-cooked made to order breakfast was scrumptious. Also gratis! What more could anyone aske for at only $12/pp per night (off-season, May 2002)! We'll definitely be back! Great job Embassy!

Just stayed at Embassy Suites, Philadelphia Airport. 1. One bed had been slept in and had to be changed. Management tried to say those were laundry wrinkles, but they were clearly the shapes of head and body. Other bed was okay. 2. Middle-sized roach-like crawling bug on bathroom counter. 3. Cheezy fluorescent light bulbs that glared on book in bed. 4. Hotel charged $9.95 for nigh-speed internet access (had just spent ten days in a Wingate Inn where it was free). 5. Furniture creaky and almost delapidated. 6. Computer "center" was on small end-table between couch and window, where I had to kneel to see my laptop. An empty desk was in the bedroom. 7. Food area ("Embassy Grille) was cold at both lunch and dinner. 8. Ordered a rare steak, but got one well-done. Waitress disappeared through big, unoccupied back room into kitchen and finally returned in ten minutes to ask, "Did you want another steak?" She had an unpleasant manner. 9. TV remote in living room didn't work. 10.... Read more

Consistently good service, clean rooms, and the restaurant/lounge areas are usually very nice. Very highly recommended!

Yes, the Happy Hour, offering free drinks and tasty appetizers for 2 hours nightly, is a lovely treat! They also provide good size, clean, nicely decorated rooms (ours have been 2 bedroom with a large bath and good size common room with a kitchenette). The service has always been superb, and the overall atmosphere of Embassy Suites is inviting. Not to mention how affordable your stay is!

Nice, clean, comfortable. I wouldn't say the rooms are that big but a decent enough size. Best part about the one I stayed at was free drinks happy hour everyday from 5 - 6.

Best buy for the money, 2 hour happy hour every night with free drinks and finger foods for guests, nice spacious rooms, and a clean safe environment...
