As long as i died healthy, which i mean where i could take care of myself and not being helped by others. Seen too many family members die of the big 'c'.

i'm not afraid to but i really don't want to quite yet. you shouldn't be afraid of something that is going to happen whenever its your time. whether its today, tomorrow, next year or when you are 110. we all have different ideas and beliefs as to what happens when we do die. i guess we all will find out when we take that final breath.

The great equalizer. It happens the best and the worst of us. The scary part is what happens after the event. The great unknown. Some think that we go to heaven or hell, but I'm not one of them (though I may be completely wrong about it). Time will tell for all of us.

whats the point of fearing something you cant avoid we all have to die one day so theres no need to fear what is already coming

I'd be lying if I said that I wasn't a little afraid. If there is one true certainty in this whole deal, it is that we will die. I suppose not thinking about it helps, but facing the possible nothingness is a little intimidating.

I'd rather it didn't happen anytime soon, but overall I've had a Good run with little regrets. When I got to go, I just hope I go out some way that's cool. I don't want to die some lame-ass way like beaten to death by Bunnies. I hope I get run Over by a tank driven by Batman. Or die post-Coitus with hot Lesbians and we did Tequila shots off each others chests. Yeah, That's the way to go.

I've seen enough of it first hand, some of it ugly and violent, and had enough family, acquaintances and friends succumb to it, that the boogeyman terror has long gone.  I'm not looking forward to it, and I intend the give the Old Bastard a battle when he comes for me, but scared isn't the right word. And the closer I get, with each day that passes, the less I feel fear.

i had a heart attack one morning after a serious bender and I smiled knowing that I would miss work the following day. Joke was on me, I recovered completely after some saline and no test revealed any damage. I went to a chinese buffet and then went to waste ammo at the firing range until the Ben Stiller movie started. I'm pretty sure I will never die, but if I do, oh well.

When I actually stop and think about it yes It does scare me. Maybe its my religous upbringing and the fear of burning in hell forever for my sins. I am however trying to distance myself from that mentality.

The only thing that would bother me is the way it might happen. But, a person can't sit around and worry about that every day of their life, or they would go raving mad. It's going to happen to all of us at some point in our life. Some people think they have all the time in the world, but that is a myth. Nobody knows when. So we just have to carry on with our lives the best that we can, and be as useful as we can.

Eh, it's going to happen sooner or later no matter what. It's the suffering on the way that might be a problem.

Not at all, because I know where I am going when I die! Look at my comment on Christianity for more info. But death has lost it's sting of fear for me. My only fear with death is to die alone.

Death scared me before living helped me find peace with life. I go about 110mph everday to make things happen--have for 30+ years. I'm satisfied. Not done. Still going fast, but no longer afraid of that beyond my control.

Not really that afraid of death, just in not being able to do everything I want to beforehand - I hate to leave things unfinished really.

A little, but you realize when, how, or where you die is far beyond our control, and is not our decision to make. We can't live in fear of it, but yet, some people do, and even sometimes, I do, too.

I'm enjoying hanging here on planet Earth and I'd rather not rush to get to the end of the journey, but I don't fear it. I know I've got some pretty cool folks waiting to party with me when I eventually cross. (although I must admit that as I get older, I think about it more than I once did).

All of we have our own death closer and closer every day, and we can do nothing. The problem is when you know that is really closer but... there's no solution, so only there's one way: continue living until the end will come.
