Being alone

i prefer to be alone i am very cluastrophobic

Being alone has never really bothered me. I enjoy the company of others, it definitely has its place, but I don't shudder at thought of being alone.

Not scary at all. I'm a social animal, but I enjoy my own company.

I'd rather be alone than be surrounded by dumb fucks.

I enjoy it for the most part and sometimes it's the only way I can think. Extra long periods of it could be boring but tolerable.

Why would this be scary? Are you under 14" tall? Have trouble opening your own jars?


Even if those things were true, being alone prevents someone kicking you onto your own roof and laughing while you roll down for round 2.

If I got any more alone than I am already I could be the pope!

I like living on my own, and having downtime for myself but to be constantly alone isn't that great.

There are times I like to be in a group,times I like a few folks around me,and times I really enjoy being alone.In fact,it's when I CAN'T get away by myself for a time that I feel uncomfortable.

Sort of a vague listing. I wouldn't want to be locked in solitary confinement (which I'm sure sets me apart) but I actually enjoy spending time alone.
Some see spending time alone as an oddity or eccentricity; I see it as being secure in one's own skin.

I enjoy my alone time, look forward to it even. In fact, the more people that are around the more uncomfortable I feel. I love peace and quiet; I find solace in being alone. Oddly enough, my husband hates being alone.

Don't get me wrong, it is not that I am scared of being alone, like if Mom and Dad were to leave me for a night (I remember my siblings being that way when they were young) but rather, being alone in life. I scares me to death to think that I will never have someone to love or be with forever.

By choice is lonely.
By incarceration is hell.
Either way, or any other way, fear of being alone can only be set aside by being alone.

In my past experience, roomates SUCK, unless your shacking up with a gf. Their are way more cons then pros.

I enjoy having time alone, and spend most of my day in my office on "alone" status. I don't however, enjoy being alone in a large open environment where security comes into question. Being the only one in the office is one thing... being the only one in the entire building is another.

I have been alone off and on through my nine divorces. It is not so bad. I can't stand the nagging about me using grizz.

Depends on what you mean by being alone. Being alone for a few hours can be great sometimes. Being alone for a few days tolerable. But being alone forever would be horrible.

Most people are going to be alone if they live long enough. Get used to it.
