Beheading

If you want a quick beheading, you should hire the French. I hate those French toads but they have terrific knife skills. My second wife can vouch for that. If you want more gore, you should hire the English. Sometimes we get our executioner drunk or the bloke has two left thumbs. The crowds goes wild when they deliberately miss the target.

If you recall, Nick Berg's beheading was done wtih a dull knife.

I hear that the head stays alive for a few seconds after its been severed from the body. I guess this would be one way to prove it.

I thought this would count as a murder, I think my family would take so much joy in this that it almost makes it a negative. Simply that they knew anybody that had been beheaded at all. They would find it "cool". At least I'd be readily remembered

If you got a thing for regicide and Robespierre then beheading could be a way to go but it's not too appealing.

Well I assume it will be painless. That is what I worry about the most.I saw a family member die slowly from cancer,and I would much rather it come fast and painless.
