Boost FUCKIN rocks! I don't know why so many people are complaining about being over charged!thats impossiable! they only charge what you use! And, when they say its 50 bucks a month, they mean it!the service is awesome, and though the phones aren't that pretty, they work way better than any othe plan i've had! I used to have Sprint and was on the $100 plan and was being charged $140! wtf is that? i just got the new I9, its so cool! its touch screen, mp3 player, it has youtube and everything! 300 bucks for the phone, and i get so many complimants on how nice it is! i love it! well, i just found out that their coming out with a new phone "the clutch i465" it looks sick, just like a blackberry, and the i9 in red! GO BOOST GO! i really recomend it! :)

I just purchased the new Motorola i465 through Boost Mobile and I LOVE IT! The service is outstanding, the texting and Internet is fast in spite of some of the reviews I've read on previous sites. The i465 did not get the best reviews based on looks, however, I have to say it's an awesome little phone! It's not a bad looking phone and the keypad on the front works perfectly! The reception on the i465 is much clearer than my Razor or any phone I have in my home! It's very user-friendly and just a sharp phone overall!! Out of all the cell phones I've ever used, this one is by far THE BEST as well as THE BEST service! I haven't had any problems with texting, chirping or Internet service. I have been with AT&T for 10 years and I will not be returning!

Boost sucks. It's a miracle if someone calls you and the call goes through! I went to boost because of the unlimited service for $50 but it's not worth it. U don't recieve text messages till like 4 am or even 2 days later!! I hated that. I only had it for a month... Never again!

Hi everyone. i just want to say i think boost is a very good company.i see alot of complaints.most of them coming from ppl that has had there boost for awhile.one question why do you still have it if you dont like it?all i can say is i live in a dead zone. all phones with contracts get no service at all..i have an i335 and it is amazing.i honestly think its better than revol cause you cant get service with revol in a lil cities..thank you...

I have been with Boost Mobile for one month and hate it. The customer service is absolutely horrible. The phone instructions are little to non existant. That in itself is an aggravation.I went on line to set up my acct to pay monthly. Finally, got that set up, then they discontinueedmy service for no paymentI called customer service, after long hold times, and being transferred around multiple times, still did not have my account set up. I called again had to ask for a supervisor, she was very nice but then she transferred me to an automatic authorization number, and as i sit here writing this eval, still no phone service and still not sure if they took the money from my acct.I have never seen a company give so much pushback, when all you are trying to do is give them money, its a great concept for a cellphone, but I doubt if the company makes it for long.I will say though the reception on the phone is 10x better than ATT.

I started with Boostmobile 3 years ago, so I am not a new user. I have watched the servicedecline. I have had NOTHING but trouble with TERRIBLE customer support and very poor service. Why do I have full signal bars on the phone AND REPEATEDLY get "NO SERVICE" on the display? This isn't a once a week event, it has happened 3 to 4 times a day usually AT LEAST 3 times a week! Why do I dial a number and I have to try at least 2 times or more to get the system to accept the call? Why is the received audio on calls constantly plagued with "digital artifacting" again on full signal strength? Why more often than not phone never rings and suddenly there is VOICE MAIL indicator? Why do my voice mails have to be replayed a bunch of times because of digital distortion? Why when you call "tech support" you get someone with such an accent you can NOT understand them? Why they always tell you " We have to update your phone, hang up, turn off your phone and WAIT 10 minutes, turn your phone back on and it will be better" NOT!! Why when you call "tech support" they say that YOU NEVER called about these problems before, when you have called 6 or more times about these issues..I thought ALL calls are supposedly entered into customer notes? Someone either ain't doing there job or just lying!! Why when you ask to speak to a "manager" you are put on hold and eventually hung up on. Why when you are told "someone will call you back to followup with your issues"..Never happens! Ever suddenly loose money in your account ($20.00) and get a whopping $5.00 "GOODWILL credit"? Upgraded to the i776 and it didn't work any better...$99.00 piece of cheap plastic phone.. I get TIRED of hearing " you should take your battery out once or twice a day"? WHAT the heck??? Boost is not a getting another DIME of my money...There commitment to servicing this steady customeris gone. I DO NOT trust them. 3 years and this is what it has come down to. Oh yeah this great new i9....$299.00 you got to be a fool to spend that kind of $$$ on a NON SMARTPHONE ??..Local Radio Shack said they sold 2 and got them both returned..Another testament to Boost quality. I KNOW THERE ARE SOME REALLY HAPPY CUSTOMERS OUT THERE...GOOD FOR YOU... GREAT! I SPEAK FOR ME AND FAMILY AND WE HAVE HAD NOTHING BUT PROBLEMS. NO HELP FROM BOOST. Goodbye boost. Chirp, chirp...steady beep...NO SIGNAL

Okay okay. I dealt with Boost a whole lot and most of these issues that all of you have are so minor! Its a great company! I highly recommend it! But before getting it I would read the following and check out the tips....1. If you can't access your voicemail because it asked you for a pin that you do not know:- Your default pin is your phone number WITHOUT the area code.*Your voicemail pin is different than your pin for your account.2. If you barely activated your phone and you cannot text:- You must wait up to atleast 72 hours for texting to work properly. If its more than 92 hours than contact customer support. Most likely they need to refresh your device and it should work fine.3. If your incoming calls go straight to your voice mail than that means your CALL FILTER is on for your phone.- You must turn your call filter off. Main Menu>Profiles>Highlight current profile that is check>Press View>Check Call Filters>Make sure all filters are set to OFF>Done.4. If your phone is acting weird with small minor gliches...-Turn your phone off and turn it back on it again after 15 seconds.5. If you changed your phone number and now can't access your voicemail.- Dont worry, your voicemail just needs to be refreshed. Call customer care.6. If you make an outgoing call and you hear "You have insufficient funds to make this call." - Make sure you dial all 10 digits for that phone number. If still does not work, contact customer care.7. If you barely activated your account and it still says not in service.- Turn your phone off and turn it back on again. There are many more minor issues that you can fix yourself without calling customer service! I have called in so many times and feel so dumb after they have fixes my issue...that I could have done myself. A lot of times a Master Reset does the job! Main Menu>Settings>Advance>Connectivity>Mast er Reset>Pass code=000000>Select Yes>Press OK. Afer your phone turns off, turn it back on.Some more helpful tips for your phone:*Turn your phone off and back on again atleast twice a day.*Constantly check your account balance by dialing 225 from your Boost phone.*ALWAYS call customer service to add funds to your account.*DO NOT try to use only account to make payment. That is known to mess you up!NEXTEL PHONES:Not all features are guaranteed on a nextel phone. Boost Mobile reps always used to advice me to get a Boost mobile phone. The i776 is awesome! I'm saving up for an i9. FINALLY:Many are switching to the $50 monthly unlimited plan. READ BEFORE GETTING THIS PLAN! I keep getting informed that Sprint/Nextel is making more towers for this plan. So many have joined it that is somehow filling up the capacity of the towers, causing weaker coverage areas to drop calls. This plan works great for me but I noticed that some areas around my county, according to my friends who have this plan as well, the service is not so good. Before getting this plan, ask the Boost Mobile store owner or anyone who is selling you Boost service to let you know how well the coverage is in your area. If it is not the best(which is should be for best service) then be patient until it gets stronger in your area! For now, stick with the dollar a day plan which is pretty close to the $50 monthly unlimited plan.PS: I tried Metro PCS....it sucked.Hoped this help. Take care!

well i bought this Motorola cellphone (guess its 776i)from radio shack for 99.99 bucks (to me its worth no more than 10 bucks ) issues : * i cant hear people during the call ,even i adjust the volume at top (7) if try to speaker then they cant hear me well *menu sucks ;ieverything is too small on the screen and i still couldn't find out where the 'missed calls' option if there is any .. *internet speed is ok but its limited for example i logged in yahoo and thats it i cant even see my emails .\ since its too smal screen dont expect to play any video or any fancy things * also gps ;i thought this phones comes with gps but you have to pay extra 10 bucks for it . *drop calls: having more drop calls my old phone from tmobile and also get disconnection every 10 minutes -weird- ** have nothing to say for walki-talki feature which i dont use and customer service seems to be different but i didnt have any problem speaker is strong on this little phone and battery life is not bad and i had no problem on text msg or voice mail at all one more thing ;if you wanna to try this company try to get little credit at first in case u wanna to return it in a few days bc you can get a refund for the phone in 30 days but not for the minutes such as myself paid $50 i live in boston area and have this phone since april 16 /09tried to be fair in my review as much as i can and good luck

THE OLD SAYING IS YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR.THAT IS TRUE WITH BOOST YOU PAY FIFTY DOLLARS FOR UNLIMITED ,YOUR NOT GOING TO GET THE SAME SERVICE YOU WOULD WITH SPRINT,VERIZON OR AT&T.BUT IN MY OPINION NONE OF THOSE CARRIERS ARE GREAT ANYWAY AND I HAD THEM ALL.BOOST IS A GREAT VALUE FOR THE CURRNET ECONOMIC TIMES.I HAD THE SPRINT $99 DOLLAR UNLIMITED AND IT COST ME $140 A MONTH BUT MITH BOOST $50 IS $ 50 A MONTH NO SURPRISES.I LIVE IN QUEENS,NY AND AM VERY HAPPY WITH THE COVERAGE.IT IS TRUE TEXT MESSAGE DO GET LOST SOME TIMES FOR DAYS AND SENDING AND RECEIVING PICTURE MESSAGES IS ALMOST IMPOSSIBLE.IF YOUR LOOKING TO SAVE MONEY BOOST IS THE WAY TO GO.ONE MORE THING STAY AWAY FROM METRO PCS I HAD IT FOR TWO MONTHS AND IT IS HORRIBLE.
thefinerdetail s 04/28/2009
Have had Boost for only 1½ months and these are the issues...(note: All cell phone companies suck. Just find the one that sucks the least for you)1. Calls connect only about 75% of the time. Phone just says calling… calling… goes back to main screen on phone.2. Calls dropped on a regular basis, even with strong signal. I personally think Boost does this to it's "unlimited" customers.3. I have no signal where phones from other carriers have strong signal.4. Text messages take hours/days to receive or for people to receive mine. Boost said this would be an issue for the first few days, but it has been 45 days. Now they say it's a known issue in my zip code and will be fixed in 24 hours. We'll see...5. Many calls go right to voice mail and my phone does not ring, even with strong signal.6. Callers to my phone get a busy signal 50% of the time, even with strong signal. Busy signal!?! I have voice mail. Why does the call not go there?7. The features of the phone are not listed on packaging so you don't know what you're getting (or not getting). My phone is not a flip phone yet I can't lock the keys; it's not even a feature. Also, phone does not have an alarm clock which is the most basic of features on ANY phone.8. My battery lasts until 2:00pm each day. That's it. This is after being on the house charger while I sleep. Remember, this phone is only 45 days old.9. Most calls are unclear and filled with static.I know Verizon, ATT, Sprint may suck in the customer service department, but they all do. It has become a fact of life. But Boost, by far is the worst!

ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE SERVICE!!!! NOT EVEN WORTH $1 PER MONTH. DON'T WASTE UR TIME W/THIS COMPANY!

Before you make your decision to be with boost mobile there are a few things you should know.1. The service can be unreliable at times. I have had boost for 5 months now and out of those 5 months there were about 4 days I was not able to use the phone or internet due to the server being down. If I was not only paying $50 a month for unlimited calls texts and internet as well as the DC i would be upset but it is such a great deal i can live with a day once a month without service.2. The Text messaging is unpredictable. I would have to say the texts come in and go out like they are supose to 70% of the time. But the other 30% you might get a text someone sent you 2 days later.. Or you might get the same text 4 times in a row. And you also have to download some texts others pop up right away. I use texting alot so this can get annoying but again for $50 a month I cant be too picky. If it bothered me that much I can go pay $120 a month and get flawless texting and phone service with another company.3. The phones boost offers are crap. I know it and everyone who has boost knows it. But nextel phones are a little bit better. So what i have done to get the most for my money is I have purchased a Nextel Blackberry. I then realized only the phone and DC worked becasue you need a BB data plan to use blackberry internet and so forth. But wat i did was downloaded opera mini(a web browser) that worked with Boost internet and it suprisingly worked great. With my stupid boost phone the internet took so long it wasnt even worth going on. Now im checking my emails going on facebook playing poker all from my blackberry. 4.ALL IN ALL again i am paying $50 a month but i am making the most out of it. I am very satisfied with everything from boost.

I signed up for the Boost Mobile $50 a month unlimited plan. I live in South Florida. It takes me one hour to get to work and I travel up north. I never had problems with service coverage of texting. I have the Motorola i335 and I am happy with it, it's nice and loud because the speaker is underneath the keypad. I dropped At&T, they ripped me off for years. Boost mobile is the future that all other cell phone companies should be competing against. The call centers are located in the U.S. and THEY SPEAK ENGLISH!! Real American English. No credit check, no gimmicks, just unlimited talk, text, AND WEB !! I'm a very happy customer.

Location: Wenatchee, WABefore I went with boost I read reviews here and picked up their pamplet at RadioShack. It showed good coverage in Eastern WA where I live so I decided to do with it. I did the $50/month plan and bought the I335 Candybar style phone (I hate flip phones). So far the service has been fine, after everything was activated calls went through great but I did have problems with texting. Contacted customer care via email, they said turn my phone off then back on. Text works fine now. After 2 weeks I only have one complaint, the phones. None of the options are very nice, I looked at the i9 Stature, for $200 dollars it didn't seem like the same quality you would get for $200 for a non boost phone, so I decided to go with the i335. Phone works well, however sometimes I have to restart it because it transposes letters and numbers aftere it has been on for a few days, even with incoming texts. Purchased a few music ringtones, they always cut out/pause and about a second and resume it a second latere, kinda lame. But $50 Unlimited w/o a contract is an amazing deal. At AT&T I was paying $65 for 1200 Minutes and some texts, AT&T's rollover minutes don't work like you would think, I would go over everymonth and yet I had 2000 rollover minutes, not sure how that works. Conclusion,Good service, cheap, no frills. Before buying I would check their service map (Got one in pamphlet from Radio Shack)

BOOST MOBILE. This is just an update for people who are having serious issues with Boost Mobile Customer Service. Currently they have a call center in Kentucky, with representative who actually do speak English and that you can understand, however beginning June 1st all Boost call centers are moving to Mexico and across seas, so all of the people that are having issues now. Good luck in a month.

VERY POOR SERVICE: ****DONT EVEN WASTE YOUR TIME WITH BOOST*****I WAS ATRACTED TO THE $50 PER MONTH UNLIMITED CALLING PLAN. THE SERVICE IS EXTREMELY POOR, MANY, MANY DROPPED CALLS, ALSO MANY PEOPLE CANT REACH ME. CALLING OUT IS VERY DIFFICULT, OFTEN I GET A RECORDING 'THE NUMBER YOU HAVE CALLED IS IN CORRECT' OR 'WERE SOORY YOUR CALL CANT BE PLACED AT THIS TIME' I DO NOT RECCOMED WASTING YOUR TIME WITH BOOST AT ALL, IT CAN BE VERY SERIOUS TO HAVE THAT MANY CALLS DROPPED THAT OFTEN ESPICALLY IF IT IS AN IMPORTANT CALL, AND 50% OF THE TIME BETWEEN 7PM-10PM I CANT EVEN GET A CALL OUT IN NEW YORKWHAT HAS HAPPENED IS THE NEXTEL NETWORK HAS BEEN DEDICATED TO BOOST AS SPRINT CANT DO ANYTHING WITH IT AND THEY CHOOSE NOT TO UPDATE IT INSTEAD THEY MARKET IT TO LOWER INCOME PEOPLE AND MISLEAD CONSUMERS ABOUT THE SERVICE.

I just want to say that I tried Boost Mobile for about 2 1/2 weeks and they pretty much sucked! The signal was weak or I had no service at all....some areas it was okay but for the most part it was very low signal or none at all. I had the new Motorola i9 Stature phone which was very nice...pricey though. The worst part about Boost was the text messaging. I would either never get the messages, get them in the middle of the night or the next day. My boyfriend has had the same crappy service. I would only recommend them to someone who doesn't need the service to be 100% RELIABLE and if you do not use the text messaging feature. When I called to fix the text problem they would have me reset the phone and it would never resolve...they just were giving me the run around.

This service is absolutely ridiculous in Montgomery County, PA...I was pleased the first month until Boost changed my unlimited and charged me for everything month 2-so my $50 didn't go the whole month and they wont adjust it so had to pay to get service back on...my i776 drops calls after 10 minutes every call...if I get my texts its days later when I don't need them...and most of the time people call me they say they can't get through and get some recorded message in english then in spanish-they can't even get to my voicemail...Customer service sucks...I told them and they sympathize but bascically say screw you they aint doing anything...As far as people commenting about how great the phone is and the ones having problems are idiots...that's not it at all it's the fact that boost offers their service in areas without an antenna that you don't find out til after you pay...I wouldn't give them one star-obviously this service works in some areas and not in others...so if you're in Montgomery County, PA-I'd suggest NOT going with Boost.

As far as the service with BOOST mobile I will say this: It's affordable. That being said you also get what you pay for. One: My husband and I wasted our money on the Motorola i776. It is a horrible phone especially for the price. I don't understand why this phone has a camera on it when the pictures come out so horrible. Texting is awkard and it seems like forever before I receive a text message. Every time I receive one it shows an hour glass flipping for up to a minute or two at times! The screen is very small and is poor quality. The phone itself looks UGLY or hideous-had I been at BEST BUY when my husband bought me the phone I would have said NO! But seeing that he just wanted me to have a phone he just bought it without thinking. I wish BOOST had better phones to choose from. There are plans similar to BOOST in my area (SAN ANTONIO,Tx) that offer unlimited EVERYTHING and the PLUS is you can choose whatever phone you'd like and have them UNLOCK your phone and they can put their service onto it. I SHOULD HAVE DONE THAT INSTEAD but I thought since BOOST was through sprint that the service would be better! WRONG!Second: I called customer service and you are on hold FORVER> And when you finally talk to someone they are very unprofessional.I am seriously thinking of ending my service with BOOST and going with CRICKET OR POCKET. Then I will be able to have any phone I want.My husband bought a TOUCH SCREEN phone (THE NEW ONES) from a friend for $50 bucks and had CRICKET put on it and now he has UNLIMITED EVERYTHING! No HIGHWAY ROBBERY CONTRACTS!

24/F/CABought the Motorola i776 at Radio Shack for $99.99 on March 27th 2009. Also prepaid my first month. I got the unlimited everything plan. For $50.00 a month. The phone it's self is kinda ugly. It has no alarm clock, or calculator like most phones do. It is small and hard to use. This phone is WAY overpriced!Texting- was perfectly fine at first, but now it's taking hours, even days to receive texts. It's not a very easy phone to text with either, everything's so small I end up pushing the wrong buttons like every text.It does store a lot of messages though.Calls seem to be ok, I hate that you have to put in an area code everytime you need to call someone. No dropped calls or anything like that though. The only thing I really like is the chirping. Since I can't text, I can at least chirp my husband when I need to.There is the Boost Loop that's supposed to tell you where your other boost looped friends are, except is is almost always wrong. It will say my husband's on the other side of town, when in fact he's sitting right next to me. So that feature is pointless. It also the the internet. I tried using it and well...it was hard to use, and I'll probably never try to use it again.I also was NEVER told about the roaming charges. So to sum it up: This phone/boost mobile sucks.I hope they do something quick about this texting issue, or I'll throw this phone in the street lol.
mrlogic 04/05/2009
The service is not bad at all. The bad reviews i've read on here appears to be coming from idiots. Before you sign up for anything, the best thing for you to do is read the terms and conditions. All those things you guys complain about can all be found on the faq on their site, therefore i don't believe thats Boost Mobile fault. Its yours. I do agree with you guys on one thing though hence only giving it 4 Stars. Calling customer care (611) is a pain in the a** with all their hold time. But i have found a solution for your questions. Before you try calling (611) send them an e-mail first. I mean when you call them and you speak to someone who clearly does not understand and can't even speak English clearly and you have been waiting on hold for quite a while it gets kinda annoying. I called twice and got a rep. twice who i could not understand and she clearly could not understand me. So i gave up and tried to find a different solution I sent an email. I had sent them an email stating that my lil boy has got my phone to say "pin blocked". I kid you not once i sent that email 1 hour 30 minutes later I check my email a response from boost mobile with step by step directions and even gave me the code to enter to the phone to get it working again. I mean i was angry that i stayed on the phone 30 minutes without getting help but my problem did eventually get fixed. SO MY SUGGESTION IS SEND AN EMAIL FIRST, you will not regret it. Other then that everything is great with Boost, in terms of quality and price. YOU CAN NOT BEAT IT!!!!!! p.s. Boost Mobile if you read this please get agents that can speak english!!!!!

I've had Boost for about a week and was really apprehensive from all the bad reviews. However, it has been really an amazing service for me.Customer service has been helpful, polite and accessible; call quality is good, and I have no problems receiving or sending texts. I was told by the dealer that it may take 1-2 days for texts to start going through OK and sure enough, day 1 had some delays, but day 2 was perfect. I am in the NYC metro area, by the way (I find it most helpful to relay where you are, esp. when talking about cell phone coverage and dropped calls etc).I was with T-Mobile Pay-As-You-Go for 3 years and had no complaints with them either, but my phone usage was changing, so I needed to switch to a plan that allowed me an affordable plan for texting and calling.I am currently on the $1/day plan, and it's really quite incredible. I may switch to the $50/month plan if I find that I'd like to give that a go. It's not that much more expensive, and it's an incredible deal: unlimited talk any time of day or night, unltd text, unltd web and unltd walkie-talkie?? And no contracts! The best part is that I can roam with this phone in both Mexico and Canada, which is why I would say this plan beats anything that MetroPCS can offer (at the moment you cannot roam outside of the US with MetroPCS).

so far so goodi honestly do not get all the bad reviewsi am one tuff customer and so far the service and customer service have been much better than the sh*t service i have had w/t-mobile for the last 4 years.glad to be rid of them!i have had no problem reaching cust support and all i have dealt w/have been very helpful polite and professionali do not feel they are trying to bs me at all, they seem very sincere and helpful compared to the competitionhad a little difficulty setting up VMthe trick is to turn off the phone after each step and that seems to workno clear cut directions to follow so that is a negative but you have to call yourself on the phone to get things startedthe call quality is loud and cleari got the cheapest phone possible just to try out the service only complaint is a bit of a hiss and echo but not enuf to really be a botherother than that i could hear the person on the other end and they could hear menone of that "can you hear me now"over all for the $$ i would reccomendwas really apprehensive after all the negative comments but glad i took the plunge.only other drawback is limited phone selection but they are going to be comming out w/more and better models mabe just get a cheapie to get started and wait till they get something you like.
firecracker72 03/30/2009
well first of all some customers may receive good service depending on where you live, but as far as the kansas city area, Boost is a joke!!!! First of all no one told me that you can keep your old cell phone # if it was still in service at the time you activate your new boost phone. No one told me that I would have to dial local area codes, which is annoying but I was still going to deal with it. Then I would receive my texts 20 minutes or longer after they were sent, one text even came 13 hours later. There is almost always service interruptions.Half the time my calls wont even go through. If you are on the phone and someone calls or texts you, you might not get the message for 30 minutes or longer. At first the customers service was good, but then they get real rude with you just because you are rightfully upset with the service. Boost is misleading and falsely advertise their services. One supervisor was so ignorant he told me that I needed to call them every time there was a problem so they could fix it,but they still were unable to fix the problem and I would literally have to call them 5 to 10 times a day at 45 minutes a call. Who has that amount of time to waist? and most of the time you will be on hold for 20 or more minutes and get hung up on. But if you just need a cheap phone to make an occassional call it may be ok, but if you need your phone for your work, to keep in touch with friends and family, and so your kids can get a hold of you especially in a emergency,in other words if a phone is actually important to you on a daily basis, do not use Boost!! And be aware that many of the good reviews that are posted here are actually coming from Boost, and not actual customers.

i WOULD HAPPILY GIVE BOOST MOBILE A GOOD RATING...SIMPLY BECAUSE ONCE WAS PAYING 300.00 PER MONTH FOR ME AND MY HUSBAND FOR THE UNLIMITED PLAN FOR $119.00 PER PERSON THROUGH VERIZON....(HIGHWAY ROBBERY)NOT TO MENTION TAXES AND SURCHARGES..WHICH WAS HIGHWAY ROBBERY, I ALSO HAD THE LG DARE FROM VERIZON WHICH WAS TOUCH SCREEN. I LIKE THE FACT THAT BOOST HAS NO CONTRACTS, NO CREDIT CHECKS AND UNLIMITED TEXT AND TALK...WITH THAT BEING SAID, I FIND THAT THE BOOST MOBILE SERVICE IS VERY ECONOMICAL...IF YOU CAN DO WITHOUT A FEW HIGH TECH FEATURES FROM YOUR FANCY PHONE...WHICH MAY NOT MATTER...I SAY SAVE SOME MONEY AND GO WITH BOOST...ITS JUST LIKE METRO PCS...THEIR PHONES ARE NOT ALL THAT SAVVY, BUT HEY THIS IS A RECESSION AND 50.00 A MONTH IS A GREAT DEAL...i LIVE IN mINNESOTA THE CONNECTION WAS GREAT I BOUGHT THE PHONE AND PLAN ON THIS PAST SATURDAY 03/28/09 AND I HAVE NOT EXPERIENCED A DROPPED CALL YET BUT...I DID TRY TO CALL MY HUSBAND AT ONE TIME AND GOT A RECORDING THAT SAID "ALL CIRCUITS ARE BUSY". OTHER THAN THAT THE SERVICE IS GOOD....IT WILL SAVE YOU LOTS OF MONEY...YOU ONLY HAVE TO BY THEIR PHONES...i BOUGHT THE 99.00 ONE...I MAY HAVE DOWNGRADED MY PHONE, BUT WHO CARES ABOUT SHOWING OFF A HIGH TECH PHONE! IM ALL ABOUT SAVING MONEY AND I CAN PUT THE MONEY I WAS SPENDING WITH VERIZON ON SOMETHING ELSE....VERIZON AND OTHER CELL PHONE CARRIERS ARE WAY...OVER PRICED!!! MOST PEOPLE GET THESE HI TECH PHONES TO SHOW OFF TO THEIR FRIENDS WHICH IS RIDICULOUS!!! ID RATHER SAVE ME A COUPLE OF HUNDRED DOLLARS EVERY MONTH THAN HAVE A OVERPRICED PLAN. BOOST MOBILE'S PHONES MAY NOT BE ALL THAT HIGH TECH BUT THEY GET THE JOB DONE...THE CHIRP FEATURE ALSO WORKS GREAT!!!THINK OF ALL THE MONEY YOU WILL SAVE BY GETTING BOOST! AND THATS NO JOKE!!!

I live in Chattanooga, TN and BOOST is an amazing provider, especially if you have ever gotten one of those surprise phone bills of several hundred dollars. If you make international calls at all, then BOOST is definitely for you with unchallenged international calling rates. As for the idiot who complained about BOOST because he couldn't set up his voicemail- you must initially dial your own number from your BOOST phone to get into voicemail to set up your password etc. Kinda different way of doing things, but simple. The unlimited plan is amazing, including texting/talking/call waiting etc. The ONLY negative attributes are having to maintain patience when calling customer service (what do you expect a ton of people just signed up all at once, the growing pain will pass soon enough!), and there aren't very many phones to choose from--- however, they are sturdy phones that are very user-friendly/simple to use.The only show stopper, for most people, is the poor phone selection- so I recommend trying to see if you can get your new BOOST phone online so that you can choose from all of the phones they DO offer.I have never had a problem making/receiving calls or texts, all calls are crystal clear! My i335's battery goes for days before needing recharged.I highly recommend the unlimited $50/mo plan with BOOST to anyone who wants to rid themselves of contracts and the worry of being overbilled or going over your minutes. BOOST may market to a younger demographic, however their phones/plans are amongst the simplest in pre-paid (or most providers in general) thus I see BOOST as a very good option for those who aren't so tech savvy... I got my grandfather a BOOST phone after getting my own, because it's the only cell he could figure out how to work.

I don't know about BOOST yet, as I'm still thinking about giving these people a try. However, one thing that I've noticed here, people talk good and bad about this company's service. But, let's face it, some people just happen to be in the good service area and others not in a good service area. To make this fair , I'd like to propose to people that review the service to post the location and quality of service. I"m in Cleveland, Ohio and would like to know if any of you are from the same city and what is your experience with BoOsT Mobile.Thanx

I have had many regular plans, But to rate this I will use my previous prepaid plans as reference. Prepaid I have used Tracfone, T-Mobile, Verizon, and Virgin Mobile.. And of course now BOOST. First off the price cannot be beat, hands down. Tracfone is a rip off in the price department. T-Mobile Verizon and Virgin mobile arent bad but with boosts unlimited plan they dont even compare. I have never had issues with reception or dropping calls or texts or anything like that with any prepaid service except verizon. when roaming with verizon dont expect to have any calls unless they call you. BOOST has not given me any problems and for the price looks like I will be a boost customer for some time. I highly reccomend it!!!

I bought the i355 and Boost Unlimited last week. I have never been happier. All I want is the basics. This phone gives it to me in a durable, comfortable to use interface. The reception is excellent. One of my friends said, "I can tell who you are on this phone." I have had ATT Prepaid, T Mobile Prepaid, Verizon Prepaid and Net 10, of all these, i like this new unlimited plan with this great phone. It has no picture capabilities and the Web browser is primitive, but for texting, talking and walkie talkee-ing... it is great. For the price and unlimited plan, I doubt anyone can find a better plan, with or without a contract. It can only get better.

I've read through the other responses. I would imagine that the old saying is true. The sick may be healed, the poor can become rich, the sinner might be saved, but DUMB is forever. Dumb people will have problems with any cell phone carrier they may choose. It's inevitable. However, if you are looking for a cell phone that offers everything without a contract and hidden fees? BOOST MOBILE.I have been with Cingular, Sprint PCS, Verizon ... then when times got tough I switched to pre-paid. I tried Tracfone, Virgin Mobile, and Verizon pre-paid. Boost really has made it possible for me to be UNSCREW'd when it comes to pre-paid phone service. No complaints, no problems, easy activation, unlimited services, easy activation and one easy payment a month are all the reasons why I love Boost and will continue using their service.

Overall the service is great, i read on here ppl complaining about customer service, well ppl, if u got great credit go sign up with one of those other companies that will answer ur 611 calls immediately, be patient with ur silly questions and charge u $100 dollars a month!! seriously ppl that complain about boost need to grow up, u get what u pay for and for what u pay with boost its not bad at all, service is great i use to get dropped calls every now and then just got the i9 never a dropped call quality of the phone makes a difference with cdma service my only complain about boost and the reason i didnt rate it 5/5 is the texting not too reliable so if u love to text i would not get boost other than that its great.

Boost mobile is retarded at best. I had the motorola i335 and the motorola i290.The phones will constly dial my and my friends phone. It called my phone 10 times his 17 times. Tech support will not do nothing about it . I suspended my account because of this reason. The signal is poor at best in a grest covered area i am in. I called customer support several times and spent 224 minutes on the phone with these idiots. Boost frauded me out of 50 dollars on the unlimited plan. Becareful if you get the phone mentioned above cause they will randomly dial your numbers you call. One rep told me to shut up and i was insulted and embarassed. I just do not think boost mobile is very good service. If you get this service be warned you will have 30 minute hold times with customerservice. You will be insulted by the reps and they will call you a liar when you tell them something is wrong with the service.

If I could rate this firm with no stars I would. $40 was removed from my account in February and I have been trying to find out why. I was on a plan to add $10 when the balance dropped below $10. They added the money all right but took away the original $40. Trying to contact customer service is a joke with busy signals and ungodly amounts of waiting time. Forget it find another carrier service. Don't waist your money with this business.

BOOST MOBILE should be sued out of existance for taking advantge of the general public. Their network is down half the time, reaching their Customer Service takes days, and when you reach them they're rude, non-caring and usually will hang up on you. I had them for a few months. Their service constantly goes down, their text messaging and web data works only once in a great while. Worst customer service I've ever experienced. DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY NOR TIME.

I have had Boost Mobile for almost a year now and it has been the best service that I have ever had with cell phones, believe I have had them all. I had only one issue with them and that was the first bill that I paid. I paid what they said I owed and then I used information and so my bill was short. My phone service was cut off for about 10 minutes and once I got that straight I have never had a problem since. I have one of their Motorola Krazr phones and it is the best phone ever. Not sure why you all are having such a problem but obviously you have not tried some of the other trash out there call cell phone companies.

Customer service (dialing 611) is incompetent! They cannot answer a question straightforward many times, and today I was transferred to someone else & had to give my info & tell the problem all over again!! The main problem is that the "Account Activity" online doesn't show accurate numbers!! A few lines say $0.00 billing and further across the same line, there is a deduction!!! Also, what I see online is not the same calling details as they see!!! How does that make any sense? !?!?!?!??? All records should be equal & accurate!!! Boost Mobile, I don't think I will be staying with you much longer -- customer service reps need to be more friendly and/or considerate of customers' feelings and your records should look the SAME no matter if I, a customer service rep. or anyone in the world is looking at it!!!!

Battery on their phone dies within like an hour. You have to keep charging it constantly. But that isn't the worst thing. It drops calls constantly. I talk to my fiance on his boost mobile a lot. We get dropped calls a minimum of two to three times per day. Sometimes more! There have been times when we have had a dropped call twice during one conversation. It's really bad when you are in the middle of an important conversation, then you have to figure out what was missed. I was going to get a Boost phone too, but I've changed my mind.

Boost mobile fucking sucks. My phone was off for about a month. i asked them what i needed to do to cut my phone on. So the agent told me i had to pay 77.53 so i did they turned the phone. The next day my phone was disconnected i called and asked why was my phone disconnected they told me that my payment was for the month i didn't even have service for. So the agen told me to be able to turn my phone on i would have to pay 77.53 again. The day after i made the first payment. Then i have the email telling me i wasn't due until the next month.

Boost is awesome! I had them for over a year and never had any problems. The only reason I switched is becuase I moved from San Diego to Arizona and they don't offer the unlimited plan in Arizona at this time. Rumor has it that some time in 2009 they will offer it though. I paid $53 a month after taxes for fully unlimited even txt and never had any problems. For the price they are the best. The only other company I've seen that may be better but a little more is Virgin becuase they don't have roming charges. But if you don't ever travel out of your service area or don't mind paying 10 cents a minute while roming then your set. Always had service even while roming out of state. Just remember to charge your account before traveling. Customer service is the best that I've come across. I love how the agents all talk like their from the ghetto and the phone is packed with hip hop ring tones. Perfect company for any young person. Get unlimited don't buy cards to recharge $10 here $20 there you'll end up paying more.

BOOST MOBILE SUX! THE CUSTOMER SERVICE IS HORRIBLE! WE HAVE BEEN GETTING CHARGED OVER $70 A MONTH FROM OUR DEBIT CARD FOR OVER A YEAR, DESPITE BEING REPEATEDLY BEING TOLD IT HAS BEEN CANCELLED. THEY ARE LIARS AND CROOKS! BEWARE BEWARE BEWARE!!!!

I will never support Boost Mobile because of the gay white rapper guy at the end of their commercials. Is it a girl? a transvestite? or just a dude who looks like a really ugly ass chick in dude clothes? I just don't know, but "That Dude" is retarded and just doesn't mix with the other black rappers in the commercial who are actually decent rappers. 'That Dude' is just plain stupid. They must be marketing this crap to black gangsters and ugly transvestite white wannabe rappers. Pathetic.

After an exhaustive online search/comparision of all phone plans prepaid or otherwise I decided on Boost unltd. I bought my phone (Motorola c290) and activated it at Radio Shack. I went with the $50 talk package. This was the easiest activation process that I've gone through and I am quite pleased with the ease of this plan and quality of the phone service. 20/20 hindsight has me wishing that I spent a little more money on a phone. While the c290 is fine for what it is (a very basic phone)I would like to have gone with a few more features on the phone, but not so dissatisfied as to spend the money on a new phone. I'll use the c290 until I've goten all the use out of it that I can, then upgrade to a better phone.

Can I give boost a negative star rating? Their website billed me over $100 for an unlimited cell phone, then turned around maybe a minute later telling me I could not order the unlimited cell for my girlfriend from where I lived. Fine, but they still took the money from my debit card. It has been well over a week, and I have not received my money back. So I am paying for what they will not send me. Is that not theft? But I am sure that if i did not pay my bill they would shut me off that day. they would not give me until I could get around to it. They keep sending me the same basic email, starting with "Hey There" - very professional, isnt it? And NO ONE on line has a clue as to what to do to get a refund in such a situation . . . no manager, supervisor, no one. If anyone has a clue, please get back to me. Thanks Rick I still say that a star rating of 1 is way too high but I am required to give some rating.

I live in San Diego and have had Boost 3 weeks. I love it. Every time I've called customer-service, I've waited onlu a minute or two and they were helpful. I have the unlimited prepaid, no long-distance charges and no roaming-charges in my (extended) home-calling area with is all California, Nevada, Arizona and Hawaii for $50 per month. No contracts, no early-termination fee, no credit-checks. The other day, I had numerous conversations driving on I-5 all the way from Del Mar to Fresno and beyond to Bass Lake in the Sierra Nevada mtns and never dropped a call. I used to work for T-Mobile and I have has service with AT&T;, Verizon, Sprint, Via Wireless and I'd say Boost is the best deal by far moneywise and has great coverage and clarity. The only drawback I have found so far is that it is not a good backpacking/camping-phone, it does not work way out in the boondocks or backcountry in the moutains, Verizon is best for that, but very expensive. Remember folks, I have unlimited minutes, free long-distance a huge tri-state home-calling area (roaming-rates are a resonable 15 cents per minute, much cheaper than then the usual 50-75 cents other services charge. Did I mention that the customer-service is open 24/7 whereas AT&T; and Verizon closes at 9pm and weekends. Also, when you buy the phone (places like Walmart, Radioshack, etc), it includes your first month of service. It's the best service I have ever has so far. My wife and I even paid the $175-cancellation (each) fee to get out of our 2-year-family-plancontracts. For 5 bucks more you can get unlimited web and text/picture messages. My motorola phone is like a Razor, it has all the bells and whistles, camera, GPS-navigation, etc. A kickass service for people who want to talk a lot for cheap. Ken Doig Del Mar, CA

I'm not sure why this company exists. Their customer service is almost non-existent when you can actully get them. They are rude, insolent and don't know what they're doing. It took me 9 phone calls to try and straighten out a problem, which still exists. Why is it that a cellular phone company has to cater to youth? Isn't that discriminatory? They seem to make ther website so counterintuitive purposely so that if you make any errors and want to change them, they already have your money with absolutely no intent to resolve any issues. As far as I am concerned, this company should have a pile of pending lawsuits on their hands. I'll probably be one of them.
