Matt Starr is a landscaper who trampled four year old Nick O'Brien in his effort to grab a foul ball at the Texas Rangers baseball game. O'Brien's mother swatted Starr with a piece of cardboard in disgust. Several days later, Starr arranged to have the ball returned to the four year old O'Brien. Since the event, Nick O'Brien has been showered with baseball souvenirs from the Rangers, Cardinals outfielder Reggie Sanders, and inexplicably, the New York Mets.
