Nepal Hiking Team

I recently returned from Nepal and prior to booking my trip I consulted with 8 different companies all with excellent trip advisor reviews. Upon communicating with all of them and negotiating a price I decided to go with Nepal Hiking team. I was not disappointed. I was welcomed after two days of flying to get to Kathmandu at 11:30pm with plenty of smiles and a ride to the hotel from the airport. The EBC trek was amazing with Shiva as my guide. I was the only one in the group and he put so much effort in to making sure everything was well. He asked on numerous occasions if there was anything he could do to make my experience better, and every day we were hiking he consistently made sure I was doing okay. He reinforced the importance of going slow to avoid altitude sickness and we did. People finished an hour, 2 hours before us and some of those people ended up sick the following days, and Shiva called it. He said, "this is why we take our time, there is no rush for us." I felt accomplished making it to EBC, and I felt that Shiva played an important role in getting me there safe. I know Ganga and Balaram are the guys running this company and I credit them for a job well done, but it also helps to have guides that are polite and put the client first. I hope they read this review and recognize Shiva for a job well done.
The Chitwan experience was also great. They arranged a bus for me and provided transport to the bus and to pick me up. The guide in Chitwan was knowledgable and passionate about his job, which made it great for those visiting.
My package also included a Kathmandu site seeing tour, which provided me with a lot of information about Kathmandu and introduced me to some of the main sites. Some of which I revisited on my own time.
I would highly suggest booking with Nepal hiking team. They personally arranged a tour to me outside the dates on their website and I am sure if you have any requests they would be glad to arrange it for you. I wish this company the best, and I hope I can encourage readers to book with them.
