The first episode of my new program " Ask an Irish guy" is devoted to this non- topic.

Happy for them, but honestly I don't give a damn considering the other serious problems the UK has.

Good for them.

Didn't we fight a revolution so we wouldn't have to deal with this shit?

...about as newsworthy as the kansas city royals designating some player back to triple aaa. . .

I prefer Purple Rain Prince. Anyway, I could care less about something like this, and I'm sure much of the UK will agree. However, I'm sure the souvenir presses in the UK are going crazy right now. I hear the new baby's name is the Royal Imperial Windsor Arms, and he'll get along great w/Eric Idle.

*yawn* For the record, Prince William didn't give birth to a damn thing...

With the arrival of each new generation of the royal family, the calls for some form of competency test or assurances as to the sanity of the head of the empire grow louder. Here's hoping that young Tyrone Spencer Murgatroyd Windsor is up to the job.

Forgive me: as a citizen of a republic (however nominally so at this point) that wisely chose not to have a monarchy, I really couldn't care less about the royal baby. It never fails to amaze me how much the American public is fascinated by this gaggle of inbred mafiosi. Frankly, we have enough aspirants to royalty in this country, with members of the Cheney, Bush and Clinton families all vying for high office. The US and the world would be better off if they all retired quietly.
