I loved the show. I am a 32 year old male, and watched it with my wife and son and daughter. I also want to say I thank and salute Scott Helvenston!He died a hero and I will never forget him!!!!!!!

What the hell happened? This show was great and now all of us "wannabes" have to watch the History Channel for our military based entertainment! Come on U.S.A. at least play the reruns! Oh yeah, and whats with Dex singing? Is that why the show isn't on anymore?

Even though Scott H. from Delta acted like an immature idiot, he made the show more interesting. Winn was scary when he told Scott to face him like a man. I would have backed down. My favorite squad was Charlie. Ozzie gave his all and should be proud and Justin young is adorable. I always vote for the under dogs. I thought Jeff Byers should have and would have won if his weapon didn't jam. I loved viewing the men and seeing how the military support, protect their mission and each other. It is great to see! Justin Young if you read this, e-mail me and will go on a date.

I really enjoyed the program. I wish there had been more information about the players up front--what they do now if no longer in the service, etc. I hope there is another Combat Missions on the way!

All, i can see is "ITS A KICK BUTT SHOW" i love it.

This show is great. It shows what are men in Law Enforcement and are armed services are all about. They are the true heros. The cops on this show battle a war every day in the concrete jungle. The service men we owe are freedom to. Most people who watch this show only can wish they had the courage these warriors have!! This show is a five star no brainer.

Love the show! I just wish Burnett didn't try to make Helveston out as such an a**hole. Don't be fooled, there's a lot of editing going on here, and Scott is not the person Burnett wants America to believe he is. If all Scott was was an loudmouth, full of himself, smirking b*st*rd, he would never have made it to becoming SEAL. Don't believe everything you see on TV, particularly when the producer of such vomitous shows like Survivor is making the calls!

Teh best reality show ever! So much more intelligent and skillful than the Survivors and Moles of the world!

combat missions is really a great show for anyone interested in the real thing, and dosn't want to grow up being some computer punching waste of space. it really excites me for what i will face when i get my chance at the glory. but i do agree with one rating that said the men are not as skilled as active special forces operatives. it really dosnt show what they can really do

The show is wonderful, a far cry from "Survivor" which is a horride display of stupid people stabbing each other in the back for $1 Million, which doesn't even stretch as far as one would think. Anyway, "Combat Missions" is a wonderful mix of discipline, respect, honor, comradery and skill which is more than I can say for any other "reality" show. They all suck except for this one. What I was disappointed in seeing was that "Shadow Squad" seems to be some type of untrained geurilla unit or something...because they sure don't put up too much fight or even make it difficult, no strategy, you know? The other thing I don't like about "Combat Missions" is that idiot Mark Burnett produces it. Oh, and it's also irritating to see little girls who have never been to SEAL school, or in any combat situation, bad mouthing men who have. Who do you think you are anyway?

Love the show. I agree with Scott's "so bleepin' what" attitude, but admit it would have been pretty damn funny to see him take a digger off that chair at the beginning of that meeting. Have to admit I'm still ticked at Bugarin getting axed. The guy has so much experience and should have been respected more. If I'm ever a hostage in some foreign country I'd want him on the rescue squad. Seven kills in that one mission...can't argue with that. Baz is awesome. His not-in-your-face, yet kick-ass leadership is such an asset to the team. Love the show's mix of discipline and humor. Speaking of humor, I told someone yesterday that if I were a contestant on Survivor, I'd ask to take Nutter as my luxury item. The guy cracks me up. Not a bad shot either, could come in handy when I don't feel like eating slimy bugs and the sort.

Personlly I think the show is awesome. Plus my cousin is on the show so it makes it even cooler. My cousin Rodney is on the show and he was invited to go on the second season but he didn't win anything the first time and didn't think he would be able to do it all again. =/

Jenna, sistah, you were spot-on. I really hate to see inter-service rivalry or service specific allegiance as an excuse to defend immoral actions! The worst part was when O'shea made the "appeal to authority" the Hal has 'sealed his own fate' WRT the SEALs. Unfortunately saying so doesn't make it true. I'd rather have Hal on my side anyday! His team was demoralized and he let it happen right under his nose. The SWAT guy in Alpha is probably too afraid to step - up knowing he doesn't have the secret SEAL flipper shake. I'd like to see him NOT walk on egg shells and emerge as the leader next go-round. You can almost see 'integruty' etched in his forehead. As for Delta, I think that BAZ is an absolutely impressive leader. Instead of "running up the score" he just offered apology if his team went too far and claimed responsibility for Hal ex-post exercise. The only potential problem I see is IF they lose, he feels obligated to step-down. Hopefully his teammates will not allow that to happen- provided the screw up isn't his fault. What a wonderful show! It think that Special Forces are excellantly represented. IMHO, SWAT also deserves that moniker. As well exhibited by Bravo. Maybe they plan better, maybe they have more constant threat of engagement in their day-to-day jobs. Do you care to comment? They may even be better trained. Maybe they came into the challenge thinking they were 'underdogs' so they worked harder to win. Interesting group dynamics. One last comment, French. I really liked him and he did nothng wrong. He had a quite gracious, um, lethalness about him. I think Alpha is unrepairable unless the SWAT guy (Mark is it?)steps up to the challenge. Again Jenna, great observations! Stephanie

I really liked last night's episode. clearly, the powers that be and the little boys in alpha wanted to make Helveston the villian, but I don't see it that way at all. Clearly, scott Helveston is an abrasive guy and he talks a lot of smack, but ultimately I echo Helveston, "so bleeping what." I find the members of alpha to be more embarrassing to the seal tradition, and I wouldn't want them fighting on my side. Dan O'shea's expiration date went bad a couple of episodes ago and the squad chose tribe over right when they got rid of French instead of O'shea. It was a tactically stupid move. The only one with an ounce of integrity is jackson who intimated that he thought Dan Knome should go. At least, Delta got rid of teeple the first chance they got. At the last minute, Rod bailed becuase he knew he was going to get smoked in a vote. and what is this b.s. that the navy squeals in aplha think that helveston is an embarrasment to the order. Whatever. they make him look like audie murphy. anyway, all military guys on the show should be embarrassed, because they are getting beat by swat cops from places like dallas and North Carolina. Also, the members of Alpha seem to rely on Mr. Rogers for their warrior code rather than Sun Tzu or the Prince. Spicer, a physically impressive man, is to mental toughness what Rod Teeple is to war strategy. and we all know that teeple couldn't execute a successful raid on a suburban lemonade stand. The fact that spicer was going to walk out last week after sgt. major Devers yelled out him was truly pathetic. Spice Girl said and i quote, "my spirit is broken." maybe he shouldn't be called up for this axis of evil war, unless the axis consists of Richard Simmons, Geraldo Rivera, and John Tesh. and that snake pit or peach pit (a la bev. hills 90210) was an abomination. what a wuss session. o'shea and his alpha protectors, "helveston was looking at me. He no play nice." Hello, if this is indicative of what the armed forces has become the north koreans will eat our lunch like it's fido meat. I have studied the korean war and the red chinese and the north koreans used psy ops that would scare jason from the friday the 13th movies. if alpha can't take helveston's smack they need to get into a new career like interior design-- but i understand suburban housewives can be cruel so maybe they should work with the lame and the mute. also, what is it with the navy squeals in alpha and cade courtly (who changed his name to cade so it would be alliterative). they went off on helveston like a pack of yo te quiero taco bell dogs. cade's piling on was so wuss... didn't he get on the show 50 seconds ago. know what fight is yours, wussy boy with the fake name. he looks like a guy in a wussy modern rock band. wuss boy with the orange miss clairol highlights needs to worry about intersquad issues. the only way his squad could be less combat effective is if they were all dead. camp windstorm is being run like a new age wussfest. why is it that jeff probst allows telemarketers and corporate trainers to be as nasty as they want to be to eachother. yet, the DIs at windstorm require that our war fighters act like ghandi in cammo. devers needs to wear plushed velvet cammies so he blends in with the wusscamp that he has made. i think devers last gig was the 1972 olympics as a b-ball ref when he gave the russians the game. I mean how many times was he going to make them do the grid last night? he clearly wanted alpha to win. good show, but patton wouldn't be pleased with the camp candyass.

I love this show. It's the only thing me and my husband watch. The senarios are very well thought out and put together, no expense spared. I hope there will be many seasons of this show to follow.

it's fun to watch, i think it's really cool, but it isn't the best representation of the ability of u.s. special forces. the contestants are all retired from the military or law enforcement community. so they haven't been going through constant training and be probably aren't the highest of their capabilities, as the active units are. although i'm sure they stay fit, healthy, and strong on their own. these people are good, but, just so people know, the active duty units would be better. --one more thing-i've been wondering, if it is at a secret military base, how can they say that it's in the Mojave desert and show the sign that says 'Camp Windstorm'?

The BEST reality show on TV. Enough of the fluff, we have real SOF/SWAT now and it's fascinating!

Gives you a glimpse of what out forces go through. If only shadow force were a little less over whelming, but fought a little harder the show would be perfect.

The show is very good, but I would have liked for shadow force to put up a bit more of a fight and not make it so easy for the teams.
