I think learning how to tell time is necessary, but since digitals have come out, I know of some full-grown adults who don't even know how to tell time on a regular clock.

I know quite a few adults who only know their o'clocks and not much else, sad but true...

My mom likes to tell the story of how I walked out of class on the first day of kindergarten, as soon as it turned 3:00 (she had erroneously told me school would end at three--it actually went until 3:15). I didn't get far, but I remember being mad for being deceived. It wasn't the last time in my educational career, lol.
