Mr. Kato Hair Design - San Jose

Lots of Compliments I admit it...I am a hair snob from the east coast, and when I moved to San Jose, I was a bit scared. How lucky I found Mr Kato Hair Salon, who does a fabulous job with my cut and blonde highlights. The acid test came when I returned to New York City for the weekend...and I was stopped by three different people in and around 5th Avenue and the Upper East Side - all New Yorkers, all asking who did my hair. Mr Kato Hair Salon is a gem. They listen well and have done beautiful highlights, great cuts, and a couple of terrifc updos for special events for me. In my eyes, Mr Kato Kair Salon has earned its reputation as San Jose's best salon.

Just had a cut and a color there --I LOVE IT. I have not had a good haircut in a LONG time and she was fantastic! My color is exactly what I asked for--she really listened to everything that I wanted. I am new to the area and have had a hard time finding a good stylist, I will going to her from now on. Thank you!

I can't thank you enough for the great highlights and cut. You took 10 years off of me. My hair is bouncy and alive again. Usually I have horrible experiences when it comes to my hair. But I have finally found someone who listens and has excellent skills. Thank you... I feel like a new woman. I'll see you in a few weeks. You ROCK!!!

I tried out Mr Kato Hair Design after reading reviews on here, and they are right - It's great. I have blonde-ish hair (brown naturally) and am very particular about how it is done!! Kato put highlights and lowlights into my hair and did an amazing job. He took his time to do the job right, and he listened carefully to what I wanted. I definitely plan to return to Mr Kato Hair Design!

I have been going to Mr Kato Hair Design for over 12 years. I have had short styles cut and now I have long highlighted hair. He can do anything you want done. The staff is friendly and talented. They can do any hair treatment and/or cut. I highly recommend Mr Kato Hair Design without a doubt.

Top notch - you definitely get what you pay for. Mr. Kato Hair Design is pricey but, for what you pay, you will leave their salon satisfied. I came in with my lackluster, overgrown tresses and came out with a great haircut and glossy, color-corrected hair. You are definitely treated like a queen there and the whole staff is warm and inviting.
