At my first semester in my first year in college, buying/renting books was a new concept to me. I spent over $400 on books because I decided to rent most of them and buy brand new ones of the books I couldn't rent. I realized midway into the semester that it was a ripoff. Not only did I spend over $400 on books but I wouldn't be able to get as much of a return on the books I bought. So second semester I decided I would by all used books if possible. On the facebook group for my class, a student posted a link to directtextbook.com. I clicked and fell in love. I typed in the name of my book and it compared the prices of it from different sites. It allowed me to also go to the sites to review the conditions of the book. I ended up paying less than $200 for books and was very satisfied. Great website. The best so far in price comparison! I love the price alerts and the cashback opportunities. The only thing I don't like is that it keeps signing you out. Other than that is the only one I use to find my books.

Direct Textbook saved me from bookstore shopping purgatory!! You know, those long lines full of gum-chewing, iPod wearing post-teens and the parents that nag them. The bookstore staff that seems to be perpetually new, so they aren't really helpful unless you are ready to hand them entirely too much money for a book you may not even need. But instead, I sat in the comfort of my home, in my pajamas on a cold, 55 degree winter morning in Phoenix, typed in a few numbers, and I was done! I'll never walk into a crowded school bookstore again, unless of course I want to spend ungodly amounts of money on a scratchy pull-over sporting my school logo that I just HAVE to have...but you know how it goes.

Its a great site and has plenty of great deals on textbooks! I need alot of books for Pre-Med/Pre-Physical Therapy school and I was able to find all of them online thru Direct Textbook. I saved nearly 75% on my total book bill, reducing it from $500 to $78, plus shipping and handling, of course. Being a student with many loans already, saving money on textbooks is a great thing! The only thing I have a problem with is that its not always easy to tell if I am looking at the correct edition of textbooks. Other than that I am extremely pleased and will continue using this site for all my textbook needs. I've told all my friends about it too, so we are all saving money! Direct Textbooks shows a variety of sites with their prices which is way easier than opening a lot of windows to compare prices for a textbook. All sites Direct Textbook lists are also reliable and safe to buy from as well! Direct Textbook is one of the greatest tools to use to buy used or new textbooks from!

I think that the overall service is affordable, most definitely cheaper than buying new or used textbooks. The shipment of the books wasn't precisely as fast as I thought it would be as my books arrived after the tenth day I had placed the order. Also, the books were shipped in packaging that is not reusable which makes it harder for the consumer at the time of returning the books.

Just one site tells you all the prices whether you want to buy or sell a book. I have been using DirectTextbook for years. Easy to use.

I needed a book for a class that each student had to have their own book (no sharing allowed) I needed the book quickly because our first test was one week from the start of class! Their great!... Spent a good amount of time looking for the best deal online, and realized that they had the others beat... and big time!! Now I go straight to their website to rent a textbook. And They send coupon deals via email and I love that too! Every penny counts in college!

This was super easy to use! It was great to be able to see all the prices for the books I needed side by side so that I got the best deal! I love to save as much money as I can so this helped me out a lot! College is expensive as it is buying books just adds to my debt, but with this website I was able to make that expense and debt less than many of my friends! Great job direct textbook! I always use DirectTextbook to search for the books I need. Pay full price?...No Way! I also enjoy the convenience of searching for several titles at once. The site does have a persistent error, unfortunately. They list the price for mailing paperbacks on Half.com as $3.99 instead of the correct price of $3.49. Also, shoppers need to know the sites that discount shipping costs for multiple books from the same seller. If you're trying to save Time and Money (who isn't?), check DirectTextbook before paying big bucks for books.

Direct Textbooks had absolutely the LOWEST PRICE for the textbook I needed and the condition in which I needed it. I was a little nervous about ordering from a particular seller who had so few ratings (I was totally burned on another textbook website previously and as a poor, starving, student did NOT want to repeat that experience!)Direct Textbooks policy reassured me that it would be safe to do so. The description of the book's condition was completely accurate. Express shipping arrived two days after I placed my order. (I have also paid for express shipping that tookk Two Weeks to arrive!) Are you kidding? I never buy any kind of book anymore until I check DirectTextbook.com. I've even used it for CDs and DVDs. Saves me a lot of legwork. I've given the link to numerous people too because when I tell them how much I paid for something, they want to know how.

i love this site. I used to use Chegg but they only gave me the cost for their books, so it took a lot of work going to multiple sites to compare book costs. But them I happened by Direct text book and found every thing I needed in one little site. I come on Direct Textbook as a buyer. It's so stressful looking at all the websites trying to find the best price always hoping the next one will even be $1 cheaper. Direct Textbook has a reasonable price but it's not the cheapest. I have been able to come on here and find a reasonable price but it's not the first place I would suggest to my friends. I like how you can see the total price before you cash out. It's always a bummer to think you're going to pay $14 for something and you get to the payment and the total comes up $17.30, you think wait a minute! There seems to be a wide variety of books on here. There aren't any textbooks I couldn't find.

The price was fantastic and I got exactly the book I wanted in amazing quality. Shipping time, there practically was any shipping time, it arrived so fast. The only problem I faced was the internet site's complexity but I figured it out in little time.

I found it really helpful that it shows all of the prices that you can find the book for at other sites. It made it a lot easier to choose one instead of having to check all of the sites and then choose one. it gets really overwhelming that way and your site cut that down to a minimum and made it really easy to get the books that I need without feeling ripped off like I do in my college's bookstore.
