WOW this place is off the hook!!! First off you walk in and see a long bar with hot girls bartending behind it, the design is really cool VERY RED…but the lighting is great!! Then you walk into the main room where the DJ is elevated and whatever song he is playing including mash ups the video is projected on a big screen!!! NEVER SEEN ANYTHING LIKE THIS BEFORE!! The music was the best thing but everything else was also great!! The crowd was great, the employees were nice and the drinks were not the cheapest but definitely got the most for your money!! Big glasses and strong drinks, the door guys were nice but definitely had a presence outside. From what I could tell there were no security guards inside, don’t think you would need anyone from the clientele that was in there. The GM of the place told us that he just recently took it over and bought us a round of shots!! He was really cool and nice. DEFINITELY WILL GO BACK!!! ONE OF MY BEST EXPERIENCE FROM THE MOMENT I WALKED IN TO THE E... Read more

I have been here a few times with friends and I just don't care for it. The crowd is young and they play all top 40 hip hop/dance music. It seems like somewhere I would have gone in my early 20's. One exception is the attractive bartenders! I'd go here and usually end up just watching them to pass the time.

Went here for a birthday party and it was so fun. Reserve a VIP Table because it gets crowded. I really liked the crowd... not too young ...

The atmosphere is really fun. I bring my friends who come into town and we party the whole night away. The drinks are inexpensive, and there...

I went to this bar with some friends after we found out Impala (down the street) was closed for a private event. Despite the $10 cover (Saturday night) it was a very fun night! We were lucky to find a booth to park ourselves at, drink, and dance. The drinks were very reasonably priced ($6-8), especially since there were easily the biggest drinks I've gotten at a club/bar before - basically pint size glasses for drinks even as simple as a Vodka Redbull. There was also a cocktail waitress that came by in case we didn't want to order at the bar. My friend even asked the bartender to be creative and make us some drinks we wouldn't have thought of - and they were really good. The DJ was also very good - kept it going with a great mix of new stuff and old stuff (Montel Jordan). Great night!

I love going to the Dragon Bar. Each time I go the DJ never can go wrong with his music. I like the ethnicty to it. I went there for my b-day last May and had the time of my life and then again in October for a friends b-day. I plan to go again the year for my b-day.

This place definitely picks up into the night. People look good and everyone seems to have a great time. I love the set up, it nevers gets too crowded but the place is certainly well-known. The crowd is diverse which I really like. Music is mostly mainstream, gets a little repetitive but any popular place will play popular music more than once during the course of the night. Waitresses friendly and very attentive.

Always have fun here. Good music, good crowd. Nice outside area for the smokers, or just to cool off.

I have to say this place is one of my favorites. I love that they have an outdoor patio and lounge to get a breath of fresh air. It can crowded on weekends so get there early to avoid paying cover charge. The decor inside is really beautiful and the lighting makes everyone look hot!

In Short A vision in crimson, champagne and black, the interior transcends trendy minimalist design with a seductive drenching of Asian elements--pictures of geishas, oversized bamboo sticks and a slew of giant paper lanterns. It also boasts one of the most flattering lighting scheme on the block. Using red lights in an otherwise dark spot, the confines will have revelers looking better than the hot-bodied Broadway Street dancers.

This place is alright once you are inside (and are not there for the watered-down cocktails) but the bouncers are JERKS. No matter what day I have been here they have rudely informed us that we will have to wait at least an half hour and that we may not even be let in. Last time we went they told us that they were only letting people on that were on the gueslist, when I replied that we were on it, he said "This list? This is only if someone that works here put you on." Look out for the short little bouncer with a clipboard... he thinks he is king of the world. I will not be going back.

Talk about great atmosphere, delicious cocktails and invigorating music. The vibe is fabulous and the decor is definitely unique. I host my parties there at least twice a month and all my friends love it every time!!

I went there for the first time for the women's wine tasting on Thursday evenings. My girlfriends and I experienced the best service we could have asked for from Troy and his friendly staff. The wine was great along with tasty apps and good music playing in the background as well. I liked the "no attitude" feel in a posh setting.

pros: older crowd, louge style feel, smoker freindly, food is all around, in the heart of North beach... cons: In the heart of North beach, no parking, dim lighting, small venue when crowded! recomendation: After a date in North beach a good place to throw back a few drinks after a meal and call it a night.

I originally begged my friends to come with me because I had been dying to check it out, but unfortunately was met with a rather irritating experience. The patrons of this place were overly annoying and didn't care if they spilled their drinks all over you while they danced drunk, kicking you all the while. The drinks were unbelievably watered down - a baby could have drank that stuff and not get a buzz. All of this plus a $20 cover fee. I would have been better off using the $20 to purchase my own vodka and make cocktails at home while hanging out with a group of friends.

The service has definitely gone down hill at the Dragon Bar. If your looking for a good time without any attitude this is not the place you want to go. My girlfriends and I went this weekend to celebrate a birthday and from begining to end the service was terrible. The bouncers had major attitude problems and even the DJ had an attitude, to the point he would not wish our friend a Happy Birthday, nor take requests. What kind of DJ is that...it's not like it's an LA club. I will be taking my money elsewhere, where people are out to help you have a good time, not kill your fun. Thumbs way down for this place!!!

This place goes to great lengths to have an attitude that it does not earn. The bouncers are rude, the line outside is a hoax to attract followers, and the atmosphere is no different from the rest of the Broadway trash clubs. It smells bad, it's too hot, the music is average, and my drink glass was dirty. Not worth the wait or the cover.

Probably my favorite of the North Beach clubs. The dance floor is not too overbearing and you can catch some air in the outside area that has couches.

I was there on a Thursday night and it seemed OK. It's a pretty big space with high ceilings, and cool red lighting. The only sign that this is a big time SF hotspot was how good looking the cocktail waitresses and bartenders were.

Don't know what kind of crowd they typically get on a weekend, but seems like a cool place. Decent size bar and what appeared to be a pretty big dance floor. Any place with a disco ball is okay by me.
