I'm extremely happy with Top Dog Day Care and Darren. My dog always comes back tired and happy. He is much better behaved now at the dog park after the social interaction he gets with Top Dog. He is always happy to see Darren and jump in his van. My dog is usually somewhat suspicious of people AND jumping into cars, but he loves Darren and is eager to go every time. I'm extremely upset someone would post the garbage about the Casino. I called the Casino security and this allegation is false.

These reviews stating our dogs are hanging out in a van at the casino are crazy. Darren has been looking after my dog Maggie for over a year now and you can’t fake that kind of love for animals. Maggie eagerly awaits his arrival (he is the only person other than me that does not bark at when he comes to the door) and can’t wait to get in the car- and she normally HATES car rides. She always comes home exhausted and happy- it would be very apparent if she had not gotten any exercise. I rely on city search reviews for accurate assessments- it really is too bad someone is using it to spread false information. Darren and Top Dog Daycare is the best- I would not entrust Maggie with anyone else.

I have been a customer for 8 years and cannot recommend Darren and his service highly enough. For someone who actually uses the service for this long trust me and others who know and love Darren - he is the BEST with our treasured pets and they completely love him - Sam leaps to him and beelines to the van to get out and about when Darren arrives. I have given keys to Darren to my house (two houses now) to let Sam in and out every day and I could not trust him more - he is TOP NOTCH and provides excellent service, monthly billing statements, takes checks and if he does happen to miss a day ALWAYS calls and ALWAYS makes it up. WE LOVE DARREN AND TOP DOG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

While we were at the Sno Casino today, we heard tons of dogs howling, barking, whinning. To our amazement, we found a "Top Dog Daycare" van parked on the third floor with two front windows cracked open and inside were SEVEN dogs fighting/barking/whinning. We could not believe it. Other people came from all over the parking garage to see what all the noise was about too. We all assumed the dogs were clients. We all waited a half an hour - no sign of anyone. One woman in the group of people called them to tell them they were fighting and she was told to mind her own business - she must only be a snoop. An older gentleman called but got voicemail. UNBELIEVABLE. This is not what I'd expect of an animal care facility.

After parking at Snoqualmie Casino in Snoqualmie, which is far away from Ballard or Capitol Hill area, we heard dogs barking and fighting. We walked around following the sounds as did several other people and lo and behold we found all seven of them inside a Top Dog Doggie Daycare van. The front windows were down only about 1-2 inches and that was it for ventilation! The big dogs were picking on the little ones who were so scared. If your dog goes here give him or her a little purse full of money so the driver can go gamble it away.

Better suited to older dogs, rather than puppies that can be vulnerable to older dogs.

This is a great doggie day care. Darren picks up and drops off my dog. She is always happy and tired after a day with Darren. She also stays with Darren when we go away and that always goes smoothly. I tell him when we are leaving and when we are coming home, and he arranges to pick her up and have her back at my home when I return from my trip. It's so nice to have my dog home and ready to greet me when I walk in the door! She is always well taken care of. I am really glad to be able to have Darren and Top Dog care for my dog.

Our dog Teaka loves Top Dog & Darren! Darren picks up and drops off, never a problem. Overnight stays are always available when we leave town. It's nice to know that we don't have to run home after work because we know Darren has been there.

I, and my dog, love Top Dog Doggie Daycare. My dog has been going there since he was 6 months old and he's 8 years now. He recognizes the Top Dog van when it comes to the house and can't wait to hop in and get going with the other dogs. The prices are reasonable and the service is excellent.

I am the owner of Top Dog Daycare & Boarding and this is in regards to the "BAD EXPERIENCE" review. This review is false because I don't have a staff and I take checks as payment 99% of the time. I think that whom ever wrote this reveiw has mistaken me for another company. I have tried to contact Citysearch on this matter and have had no luck reaching any type of customer service. It just doesn't exsist.

This has to b the best daycare in Seattle, hands down. I have never seen a more careing staff. The place itself is all brand new construction, the kennels are amazing! I have nothing but the best to say about the staff, and the service, this was a wonderful experiance for us and our dog. We used to goto the downtown dog louge. and the horns and screaming, and super massive numbers were enough for us. If you want the best, you want your dog to feel special and loved, you want lucky dog!

The service here leaves much to be desired. The people who work there were pretty incompetent, didn't know their hours or how to take a check as a form of payment- that was not a big deal, what bothered us was that when we came to pick up our dog we were told that she had an "accident" and apparently had rolled around in it. They did not even hose her off, she had to ride home in our car that way and then we had to spend extra money taking her to get a bath, and shampooing the back seat of our car. Also she had somehow knocked herself in the eye and it was swollen and bleeding. When I asked about it they said they hadn't noticed and I should just put some drops in it "or something" I also heard one of the guys yelling at the dogs to be quiet. Any dog who stays here is definitely not a lucky dog!
