Jesus said: I go away to prepare a home for you that where I am there you may be also.

Nobody knows the hour, but he will be back and not as a meek little lamb being led to slaughter as before. Those on the opposite side will wish they were never born.

Yes indeed, I believe that this will be sooner than later. No one knows the day and time, only God the Father. I believe that the only reason Christ has not returned is out of God's love for mankind. He wants no man (or woman) to perish.

This is something I'm looking forward. I'm expecting Him to come at any moment. Funny enough, so did the Apostles. When Paul wrote Thessalonians and told us to comfort each other with the fact that we will meet Christ in the clouds, the way Paul wrote it was interesting. He was convinced too that Jesus was going to come in his life time. But that wasn't the will of God. Because of this and the fact that even after decades of Jesus death, He still hadn't come yet, people started to think, 'Hey, this is a myth, He hasn't come back yet and He never will. We have seen many false sightings.' Then they even mock Jesus by saying 'He's very slow, it's been decades now.' But of course, God knew that people were thinking like that and would, especially in the future so He put it on Apostle Peter's heart to address this issue when He wrote his letters (2Peter chapter 3). Peter said that in the future, people will say exactly what IJR said (no offence IJR!). But Peter told us that He is slow in coming because He doesn't want anyone to perish so Jesus is trying to get as many people saved as He can. But he also reminded us that Jesus is not slow in keeping His promise at all and that our perception of slow is not accurate. Even a day to the Lord is like a thousand years to us. So as far as Jesus is concerned, it's only been 2 days since He died for us and ascended into Heaven, and each one of you has only been on the earth for 1 minute. Even if you were 100, you are roughly 2 and a half minutes old as far as Jesus is concerned! God is awesome and thinks in much bigger terms then we do. But He will come when we least expect it. So this means that He is probably least likely to come when people predict His second coming. Think of it in a positive light, if Jesus is delaying His coming because He wants as many people to get saved as possible, He must really love us, if He hasn't come 2000 years after His death!
