River Spa & Nail Salon

I walked in looking to get a new set of solar nails because I was unhappy with the ones I had done at another salon. Nathan gave me the best set of nails I've ever had! He listened to what I wanted and the end result was thin, natural-looking solar nails! The staff was really nice and attentive. Nathan is the best! I couldn't be happier! <3

I arrived without an appointment for the first time & my husband bought me pedicure & fill. The staff filled the tub sat me in the massage chair & then brought someone over to do my nails at the same time as I got my pedicure I got extra long massage on legs hands arms it was best experiance ever in my 20+ years getting my nails done. Everyone in shop very attentive & nice. Even though this place is way out of my way from where I live I return every 2 weeks to get this special treatment & it is Well worth the drive Thank you

I disagree. How did you get fungus? It's a pedicure, they clean your feet! Well anyways, I love this place. People their are so nice and cute, I had a hard time finding a place that was good, until i found this place. They made my feet looking new, I had rough heels but then when I come every month, it gets better and better and soon i didnt have it anymore. So I really do highly recommended this place!

I am absolutely positive that this place gave me a toenail fungus. I never get pedicures, I usually just do my toes myself, but my boyfriend brought me to this place and bought me a spa pedicure so I did it, and after about a week I took off the polish and my big toenail was all messed up and weird looking, had some kind of fungal problem. I've never ever had anything like that happen to me before so I know it was this place. I had to go buy expensive medicine. This place is unsanitary!!!! Don't do it!!!

I was trying to find a good place to get solar fills and I came here since it was close to work. Nathan did an amazing job of getting me thin natural looking solar nails. A lot of salons gave me uneven thick stubby looking nails and could not understand what I was asking them to do. He listened to how I described what I wanted and then did them perfectly. It's been 2 1/2 weeks with no lifts or breaks. Price was awesome and the staff was fun to chat with! It's my new nail place for as long as I'm in Austin.

Vivian is the bomb! Sweet, patient......will go the extra mile to give you what YOU want! I could not be happier. They're prices can't be beat in Austin!

I drive all the way from Round Rock after work because this place is excellent! I have been coming here since a year ago and they their customer service is worth the drive. I have been doing my nails since I was 18 and you don't meet people who can give classy service with a smile! I accidentally found it when I was stuck downtown waiting for somebody at the Embassy Suites and started walking around and found it. I would highly recommend this place and it's especially fun when you bring your friends. Go and you'll understand why I go there!

I have moved to Austin for a few years now and have tried several nail salons in South Austin but I haven't found the one salon that I was used to in Dallas. One day, I was talking about nail salons when my friend suggested CitySearch. I found several nail salons listed there but since River Spa was closed to my work I thought about trying them out first. I was kind of skeptical at first but I was very surprise that my solar fill was done exactly like I wanted to. The nail tech was very nice and friendly. I came back with my friend for a mani and pedi and we had a great time. The salon was very clean and I noticed that they used different set of implements for each new customer. I strongly recommend River Spa salon for all my friends. I am now one of their regulars.

The service was horrible. I felt as if a 5 yr old did my nails. My cuticles were cut up, and I went right after to another salon to get my paint job fixed. I do not reccommend going here. The only benefit to this place is its location, but going an extra mile for better service is worth it.

River Spa & Nail Salon is a much-needed addition to the South Congress area. The service is fast, friendly and inexpensive - and they do a great job. Massage chairs are another plus. You can walk in any time. I highly recommend this place!
