"Evian", when stacked next to other brands of bottled water, it is vastly superior to them and reasonably so. Its refreshing taste, the simple, yet effective packaging, and the fact that it comes from the French Alpes doesn't hurt one bit. If you're picky about your quality of water, look no further than "Evian". However, if you personally ask me, I think "Fiji" destroys every bottled water brand. It's a bit cheaper, but the quality is stronger. However, it's like splitting hairs. You honestly can't go wrong with both. Although, be prepared to pay the hefty price tag. A 6-pack of "Evian" cost me $5, but that's because I had a membership to the grocery store I made my purchase from. Had I not had the membership, it would've been $8. But overall, if you don't mind the price and like your water refreshing, this is one brand that's a strong one.

Eh. For some reason Evian water has a strange taste. I don't know what causes this taste, but every time I go for a bottle of Evian, I end up not liking the taste of it. Strange huh?

Neutral Ph, hint of sweetness, and the magnesium levels are just high enough to give it that slippery good spring water taste.

It's probably already been pointed out on this list that Evian is Naive spelled backwards. The incredible diversity of 'flavours' of bottled water and the exorbitant price of them would give credence to the conspiracy theory that the palindrome is no coincidence.

Evian gets the extra star only because if you're in France, there are no public drinking fountains, and it is actually pretty cheap compared to things like soft drinks if you're thirsty and your only option is a vending machine. The rest of the time, if you're in the U.S., it's expensive and really no better than filtered tap water. On the rare occasions when I really want water and have no choice but to buy bottled stuff, I opt for the cheap store brand.

    a. Evian is very refreshing, to the point that people use it as a mist over their face during the summer months. It is considered a prestigious brand of water, which makes it one of the most expensive brands out there. It really isn’t worth all of the hype it is given.

Did you know Evian played a key role in 'Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade.' Yes sir, that was Evian in that cup of Christ that Indy 'chose wisely.'

Theres a rich kid in my school who brings in a bottle of Evian everyday to drink while he shows off his "only 1500 dollar watch" and his eygyptian wool sweaters. Please, water is water and my faucet water tastes better than this overcharged product for snobs. Water is the most abundant thing on the planet and you could just put out a bucket while its raining and get gallons of it, and people are paying like 5 dollars for a tiny little bottle of filtered water? Rip-off for pretentious idiots.

This water takes an acquired taste. I did not like it at first either, but now I love it. I usually rotate between Fiji and Evian for variety. To your health!

I just can't drink this water; it has this bizarre calcium taste to it that makes me cringe, like its been mixed with a bit of milk. Very strange description, I know, but yuck, it's awful and it gets worse when it is warm.

There is definitely a reason the word is naive backwards. Anyone who buys and likes this water is just that.

Anyone who drinks bottled water thinking he is getting pure water should have his head examined. Bottled water has got to have more stuff swimming around in it than a Jaws movie. The water has had weeks and maybe months of exposure to the atmosphere and plenty of time for little creepy, crawly things to get into it. Freshly chlorinated water out of the tap is the purest that you can get. Read the scientific test reports.

This water tastes worse than my filtered tap water. I don't care where it's from, just buy Aquafina or local spring water.

One of the nicest bottled water products available. I could drink a 1.5 litre bottle in one sitting. Evian water tastes very pure and has a clean finish.

Evian has a neutral 7.2 pH, providing a signature taste understood by few but enjoyed by many.

Smooth, round clean taste with no chemical or harsh/sour overtones. Delightful every time. Just slightly sweet.

I drink water more than any other drink and I felt the same way as some of you guys when I started, that all bottled water tastes exactly the same, when in actuality they don't. Evian is one of the best waters on the market, it doesn't taste of chlorine like Marks and Spencers own brand and it doesn't taste too cheap like Volvic or Highland Spring or just plain bland like Poland Spring or foul salt based stuff like Deer Park. You pay more money for Evian and unlike some of the other brands your paying your moneys worth.

Tastes like dishwater. i don't care if is is from France. If that's what French water tastes like, then it is pure nastiness.

While I really enjoy Evian, I do prefer to drink Fiji. However, I still think Evian is a great tasteing, high quality drink. It certainly blows Poland Spring and the rest out of the water (no pun intended).

do you know what evian spells backwards? NAIVE!... all bottled water tastes the same.. who cares.. i would rather drink my water out of the sink or the water fountain than to spend my money on something that is so abundant
