Located close to South Station and only a few minutes walk from the financial district, Andale is the best place in the area to pick up a burrito to go. The food is tasty and freshly made to order. I highly recommend the low-carb burritos which come wrapped in a whole wheat tortilla with pico de gallo and black beans. There are several options for meat-eaters and those who prefer meatless. Andale is one of Zocalo's sister restaurants (Zocalo, located in Brighton and Arlington) and shares the same deliciously fresh guacamole. Everything is made on-site, it is all fresh and delicious, and assembled very quickly upon ordering. It is amazing how quickly they work in the kitchen! The restaurant does most of its business in a take-out fashion, as it is rather small. There is a bar with about ten stools up against the window as well as some outdoor tables and chairs for al fresco dining in the warmer weather.

After visiting Andale's, I was very pleased with my experience. They use a very unique blend of spices. I love the tamals. The employees are very quick and inciteful. It is a hidden jewel. All that is desired is a little more space.

In ShortLocated within shouting distance of South Station, Andale serves up fresh, authentic Mexican fare. Chicken mole enchiladas, Portobello quesadillas and poblano burritos prove popular. With seating for less than a dozen, most patrons have no choice but to take their tamales to go. Other menu items include Mexican sodas, eggy vanilla flan and pozole (savory pork stew).
